Should there be laws restricting people on welfare from buying items like cigarettes and alcohol?
As a side note/ I think the last thing we need are more laws. A local radio guy that is now statewide had a good idea. Every time a new law is passed an old one has to be removed.
Yes. If you have money to buy drugs with, you don't need money for food.
No there shouldn't. They just need to have a time limit for being on welfare as well as tighter restrictions on where and what you can use EBT for.
The government would never restrict ppl from buy alcohol and cigarettes because that is tax revenue.
One of the social programs I like is WIC it gives families only healthy food. The food stamp program needs to move in that direction.
All welfare programs need to end. Replace them with private companies that get tax credits. Save us all some money
