Would you pay 25% of your income in taxes if you could decide where it goes? (And it can't be toward you, has to be toward the country.)

After thinking about it, I realized I don't know enough about taxes and government programs to say yes.

I'm pretty sure I already pay that much, so yes indeed I would love to have some say in where it goes.

If, sum total, that's *all* tax: income, property, state, county, city, sales, & all the "nickel/dime" taxes & fees? Any & all Gov got *no more than* 25%, for balance of my life? I *might* be interested. But 25% is excessive. Would choose IRS reform.

I already pay more than that, so if I could decide where it goes (towards funding sciences and helping people, rather than towards the military or corporate handouts), that would suit me just fine.
