Do you usually sleep through the night without waking up at all until morning?
Yes, recently I do.
Never I'm always up whether to go the bathroom or just wake up because I can't sleep. I'll turn on the TV at four in the morning and watch it till six. Hate that. But I never take a nap never ever.
Nope, and that is if I even get to sleep 🙃
Either my 13 year old dog wakes me to go out.... Or my own bladder wakes me... 😱
Military service in hostile environments sort of keeps part of you on constant awareness.
I wake up a half hour after I fall asleep. WTF? Then I wake up promptly at 6 or so. Pisses me off. I'm so used to getting up around that time for work and school that I just do
Nope. I've been up since 2am (it's 3:30 now) with my two year old. Sleep is a luxury.
If I did I would imagine I'd be fired lol
Gotta pee, gotta pee. Sheesh
Unfortunately, the older you get, the weaker your bladder becomes.
I never have. Didn't know it was possible!
On a rare night I stay asleep.
My problem is getting to sleep in the first place.
I haven't been able to go to sleep very well lately, but even when I do, the bf goes to bed after me and gets up before me, both which usually cause some sleep disturbance..
I usually sleep all the way through fine unless I have something really big going on the next morning. I am interested in possibly changing to biphasic sleep though.
I sleep like c**p on the days where I really need to sleep well.
That's because there's too much on your mind on those days.
Yes....unless my dogs feel the need to update me on the critter activities outside.
Sometimes they truly feel that I need to be informed.
No. I have a dog who likes to be let out a couple of times a night.
My dog used to wake me up a couple times a night to cover him with his blanket 😒😒 Sucked training him out of that.
I haven't slept through the night in ....... Well, I can't remember. If & when it happens, I'm sure I'll be ecstatic!
With rare exceptions when I hear my wife leaving for work, or some unexpected loud noises, yes. I go to sleep when I'm tired, and I wake up when I'm not. I'm pretty sure that is how sleeping is supposed to work.
Half a century of good sleep. So far so good.
Depends on what I have going on.
I sleep good most of the time, but not well on days I have stress at work.
Maybe half the time.
Not having epilepsy and being on so many pills...
I usually wake up around 3 am. I've done that (off & on) for many years.
I used to, then my prostate got old.
Happens to us all...
Yes, gracias, Desmopressin :). I was waking up at least 2 times every night to pee until a urologist put me on those pills. I'll say it again, folks...aging suuuucks!
I'm a very light sleeper
These days, I tend to be awakened at least once, usually around 2am, but I don't mind & go right back to sleep. 😊
Considering when I normally go to sleep I don't have much time to sleep so when I sleep I sleep well.
Oh hell no!
I have little kids. I haven't slept through the night in about six years 😴
I wake up from nightmares and panic attacks often. Like tonight. My day started at 230.
I'm so sorry you struggle with this. You've mentioned this consistently. What a sacrifice you've made for all of us. Thank you for that sacrifice and service, I appreciate you always! I hope this won't affect you to negatively today, and I wish you comfort!❤️
SM, I am sorry for you, @Nemacyst & all our veterans who deal with this. I'm also VERY grateful for the sacrifice that all of you made! 💜
They're working on getting me a service dog and I think that would help :) I'm trying to stay as positive as I can in spite of everything.
Have you tried Canines for Warriors? That's the group that helped him get his service dog who is AMAZING!!! (He's a PTSD Vet, too.)
No but I will! The VA is reaching out to everybody so it happens quickly!
You're welcome! I hope you get help soon! 🙂
Almost never. That's what I'm doing right now. Waking up in the middle of the night.
7:21 AM is not the middle of the night. 😂 try morning
It's 4:21 because of time zones
Yes, it was 4:21am when I posted. :)
