Some folks love to say that voter fraud is a minute problem. If the press would investigate cities like Chicago, Philidelphia and orgs like Acorn maybe we'd have a clue about why certain candidates can get every vote in many precincts.

Sorry but the fact that Obama got 100% of the vote in some parts of major cities is not in any way evidence of voter fraud. I think it's time that this element within the Republican Party realizes that alienating Hispanic people or black people or immigrants may have a negative effect on their electoral performance in Hispanic or black or immigrant neighborhoods.

Acorn no longer exists. During the Bush administration, John Ashcroft did an exhaustive analysis looking for voter fraud. The results came up less than .25% verifiable cases of actual voter fraud across the country.

There will always be an Acorn type organization out there steering the poor and uneducated to the promised land.

What's it called when they redraw voting districts to influence a specific voting outcome?

⬆️⬆️⬆️ now this is rigging an election! Gerrymandering. It's real.

Good post. We can almost hear the hyperventilating.

Bad when done by one side, terrible from the other.

Got it.

Hahaha! So it's ok for Obama to do it in his distric

His district was the whole state (senator).

Fat fingered the keys, Obama was set up and won his seat because of gerrymandering. There's been gerrymandering for as long as this countries been in business. It's not like one party has the keys for all of it.

RJ1969 SoCal

No. The state of Illinois was not redrawn so he could win his senate race.

Ah. State senate. Ok, that's believable.

Gerrymandering is one reason democrats held congress for 40 years after WW 2. Crying about it now is funny!

getupbaby South City

Gerrymandering needs to stop for the sake of both parties. Politicians minimalist all of our voices when they do that. * HINT - Sometimes, they do it while working WITH each other. Bipartisanship at its finest!

Every study and investigation performed says it's a non-issue.

Take your worst case scenario. How many cheated votes are there in an election that somehow sneak by, undetected? Best guess?

RJ1969 SoCal

How many thousands of votes?

Who in the hell knows the left thinks it's all good as long as they win, dailysignal.com/2015/08/11/nearly-300-cases-the-extent-of-voter-fraud-in-america/
One reason we need ID is based purely on the 20 million illegals in this country.

RJ1969 SoCal
08/16/16 2:01 pm

20 million. Well we get new numbers all the time now.

So, all 20 million, including the children all vote for the exact same candidate. That changes the outcome by about 13%.

RJ1969 SoCal
08/16/16 2:02 pm

That's not using the pop of the US as the basis, that's number of voters who have voted in the past. Forget population increase or more registered voters.

The only one who's lost so far is Bernie with the DNC fixing delegate votes. Hell we will never know how extensive it might be since the people who used to investigate these things are now enablers and cheerleaders.

Mark3
08/16/16 2:10 pm

That's why you're in favor of a voter ID law so long as an ID will be given any voter who asks for one, right? Then you can show people just how few instances of voter fraud there are.

duey in a fools paradise
08/16/16 2:13 pm

Actually organization's like Acorn cannot be trusted, their history is long and biased as hell. All I want is for people to be able to show they're a citizen. You want a list of places people need an ID to enter or participate in? Start with the DNC convention...

RJ knows it was for him.

RJ1969 SoCal
08/16/16 2:21 pm

I don't have a problem with voter ID requirements as long as it's done on a national level. In fact, these regional (not even state)-specific voting laws are a joke. They serve only to target specific demographics of what should be eligible voters. Make it one national policy.

duey in a fools paradise
08/16/16 2:34 pm

That works for me as well, make it national now that California's passing out DL's to illegals it needs to be a national ID.

RJ1969 SoCal
08/16/16 2:47 pm

Having a DL doesn't mean you're on the voter registrar though.

getupbaby South City
08/16/16 2:47 pm

Man, how much will that cost? We're willing to spend a couple hundred million or even a billion dollar because 46 people voted illegally in Chicago? I'm all for investigations into corrupt election boards, but the average citizen is not who will be rigging any elections any time soon.

Mark3
08/16/16 3:56 pm

To hell with the national level. It simply is not necessary and if it works well will be voluntarily adopted widely. Let 50 blossoms bloom (or in the words of BO, 47.)

duey in a fools paradise

Couple hundred million divided by 96 million tax payers is a couple of bucks a piece. Obama's spend that on security for vacations...

getupbaby South City

For peace of mind? Not worth it. Especially since you still haven't provided evidence of major voting fraud, save for a guy who got caught immediately.

duey in a fools paradise
08/16/16 4:07 pm

He was stopped immediately and thrown in jail. A testament to how voting fraud isn't rampant.

getupbaby South City

It's a hearing that exposed a thwarted attempt to rig an election. People spent time in jail. "There's only about a hundred lines of code." He even presents a simplified way to combat against it happening again. Did YOU watch the video??

duey in a fools paradise

Of course, that's the point a few lines of code look what Debbie did to Bernie with the DNC.
