Inspired by swervin: which horror movie scenario would be scarier to experience for real: a zombie infestation or a vampire infestation? The zombies are slow and dumb but present 24/7. The vampires are only nocturnal but fast and smart.
Zombies are like cattle, once you get used to the look of them, they're about as scary as any other predator in the wilderness. Vampires on the other hand are sneaky and cunning. There would be a constant fear of them coming for you.
I feel like vampires could kill me quick and it would be relatively painless. I'm okay with that.
Zombies would kill me with anticipation.
I'm thinking of the endgame here. Odds are you're going to get bit. If you turn into a zombie you walk around like an idiot and basically have no life. If you turn into a vampire however, you get to have a pretty classy existence, live forever, remain intelligent, and grow fangs. I'd rather be a vampire.
ONLY 9% picked Zombies! Simpile just leave some really big freaking lights on! Boom no more vampires!
I think only true sunlight fries them.
If they fry because of UV radiation, you COULD in theory use a device that shoots it. And fry the vampires to a crisp. Or just have holy water and a cross near by.
Then just store some via solar panels.
Solar panels convert heat into power via batteries. That's the jist of it. No radiation.
Vampires are cunning though. They'd think of a way around it
In reality humanity would just adapt and be able to avoid the zombies. Easy to kill. Vampires would be trickier
Build a wall around your fort. Have people on night watch and day watch. Have a big enough community you can thrive really. Vampires would be harder to combat since they're stealthy and can become bats.
I'd rather deal with the zombies.
You voted vampire.
