If their is a god and you met him after death what would you say too him or her or it? Take as much as the alotted 1000 character limit
Dear God, our great lord and savior, I have betrayed you, for I have become a pagan in my young years. I started out believing in Christ as a young child, in my christian orthodox filled home, church, school, and childhood. Dear Lord, please forgive me for what I have done to thee. I regret many, and will continue to regret as I live an eternity in a land in which I do not belong. Amen.
Why do children get cancer
Why is it that you never answer any bodies prayers?
Does religion play a factor when you go out too vote in an election?
Oops didn't mean too post this here
Nice to meet you! Thank you!
Thank you for everything you have done.
Whoops lol guess it's to hell huh?
Oh father high in heaven -- smile down upon your son
whose busy with his money games -- his women and his gun.
Oh Jesus save me!
And the unsung Western hero killed an Indian or three
and made his name in Hollywood
to set the white man free.
Oh Jesus save me!
If Jesus saves -- well, He'd better save Himself
from the gory glory seekers who use His name in death.
Oh Jesus save me!
I saw him in the city and on the mountains of the moon --
His cross was rather bloody --
He could hardly roll His stone.
Oh Jesus save me!
I would say hi and then look for my loved ones and Harambe.
Well, God, I'm guessing you and I have at least one thing in common. We both believe the major religions have made a real mess of the world.
"Yo, uhhh....cool place you got here"
The price for giving us completely free will is too high. You should have created a natural inhibition against cruelty, violence etc.
Thank you for the life you gave me and sorry for not believing in you.. (and maybe) Where do I go now?
I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet.
Christian God- I'd ask if he thinks the bible properly represents him. If he says yes i flip him off and walk away
That's literally what I would do but I would ask before that if do we have free will or not.
The Christian god?
Any god you like
I don't even know what I would say.
"Behold, I am of small account, what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth."
(Job 40:4, Hebrew Scriptures)
So nothing even though you possibly could have access too infinite knowledge you chose ignorance
No, I choose to bow in humility before my Creator. If I do not choose to bow, I will be forced to bow. Everyone will ultimately bow in utter humility before the Creator. We are mere created beings. We are nothing without the Creator's mercy.
When you stand before the One who made you, there will be no assertion of yourself.
So you are saying when I die I lose free will that's what I got out of what you are saying because i will and would not ever bow. If there were a creator
Yes. I am saying you will have no "free will" when you stand before your Creator.
As one ancient writer said, "Who are you, O man, to talk back to the One who made you...He has mercy on whomever He wills, and He hardens whomever He wills."
When you meet your maker, you lose free will. You had your chance to follow his path. If you passed the tests and followed His plan, and believed, loved, and followed Him, you will be let into Heaven. If you refuse Him, hate him, and don't believe in Him, you will be sent to Hell.
If he were as forgiving as it is said, I would ask for forgiveness. No excuses, just for his mercy. If he denied my request, and I were to be sent to hell, I would ask to see his plans for my loved ones, and to see every loved one I have lost before being sent to the fiery depths.
You said you would ask for your plans for your loved one which means you think there is predestiny therefore nothing you did is your fault he made you do it that means God created all the sufferage, pain, and death this means that God isn't moral at all he is quite the opposite.
You are not seeing the big picture. Pain, death, suffering, sorrow, these are all to test us. We can still choose who we are . You can choose to follow his plan, to persevere and to take all your bad experiences and they will mold you into the person you will become. Or, you can allow all the negative to control you and your destiny. I have lost many loved ones, and all of their deaths caused me pain and grief. But do I let my anger and sorrow control me? No. I thank my maker, as he has used these to test and mold me. We all have a time, and when the time has come, we must let go. To refuse to let go, to be consumed by anger and sorrow, is selfishness, and will forever hold you back.
So you admit your god causes all the evil in the world if he is real yes? Then your god is unworthy and evil too test his own creations it's the definition of sadism too torture your own pets
Flawed argument. God says he knows the plans he has for us, but that we participate in those plans. Depending on our choices, we may or not sync up with His plan. If you are a faithful believer and follower, you find yourself trusting in him, following his instructions, and listening/watching for guidance to live out that plan. I have plans for my children, but they have free will to listen to my instruction, follow my guidance and get to that plan. If they go their own way, they follow their own plan.
So you admit we have free will he might have a plan but we have no reason too follow it and aren't forced too therefore god isn't omniscient as he cannot see our futures unless under this plan since he doesn't control us he can't predict something that has yet too happen unless he already knows the outcome and if he already knows the outcome we don't have free will
He already knows the outcome, yet he still allows us to choose. This is the ultimate love. If you truly loved someone, would you hold them back, shelter them, and never let them make their own decision? No. He allows suffering to exist so we may overcome it.
So he is powerless if we have free will. Also if you are saying he can take it away then how do you know he already hasn't?
God isn't powerful. The fact either of us exist provides testimony. If my free will was taken away, I would make nothing but the right choice.
God can know what you are going to do and not intervene. That's free will.
And without free will, you would make no choice. You would basically be a robot without the capacity for sincere and deliberate love for anyone, much less God.
I'd ask why he let Harambe die
Please, say that somewhere else. Some people here take this kind of stuff seriously.
Harambe's death is very serious, we must remember him by getting our dicks out.. Rest in peace <===D
Nothing bad comes out of memes once in a while :) this poll doesn't have a serious nature anyways.
My only question is there free will or not and if there isn't then you created all the evil in the world and caused all suffering.
