The Manhattan Project proves to us that our government is capable of managing large scale operations without any suspicion from the public. Do you believe with certainty that the US government currently has large secret production projects?

Yes and no.. There are a few things I have heard about that surprised me, but I don't really know what other people would be surprised about. The government will always be testing new technology that the majority will not be aware about.

It better be an intergalactic spaceship. I'm tired of this "Hey, maybe we'll visit the moon again." Crap

Seriously! I'm sitting here with my Pringles like "Hey, no. Get me there and get me there now. I'm tired of this wasteland, I want a piece of that low gravity stuff (maybe it'll help me lose some of this Pringle-weight)."

There are projects, but I cannot believe there's anything to that scale.

And isn't it crazy that people of that day thought similar things? It honestly blows my mind.

We are much better informed today, nothing big can be kept secret for long. I think it is more scary that the more we know, the less people trust anything and instead believe in ghosts.

Military projects, yeah. It's part of being a government.

(Certainty here does not require proof.)

Finley - you have great questions and should have a bigger following. Are you interested in following other good people if I give you a few names?

Those are good ones to get started if you aren't already following. They all have respected followers and you will meet them. Ok?

Well, look at that! Genius minds truly do think alike! I only had to follow veritas and palindrome, both of which I followed immediately.
