Absolutely! I do not subscribe to any religion and dislike organized religion. It's mostly been used for hatred and as a means to control. But I believe in God and do not believe everything on this earth is random. I am spiritual. I do also believe in science. These ideas are not mutually exclusive.

A religious person is afraid of going to hell, a spiritual person has been there.

I just like that saying. ^

The purpose of religion is to assist a person in their spiritual development.

So you can be religious and not spiritual, but somewhere, either the religion or your method of practicing it are lacking.

You can be spiritual and not religious. But very few, if any, people are capable of fully developing their spiritual health on their own.

I don't know that I have ever met anyone that appeared truly spiritual to me that was not involved in a religion.

Yes. A person could be spiritual but not be practicing member of a given religious group.

Ceremony, primarily.

Free thought, to a lesser degree.
