Since birds evolved from the dinosaurs, do you consider birds to be "living dinosaurs?"
Technically they are as they have hollow bones. I've heard that is the scientific definition of a dinosaur.
Not really, because they evolved *from* dinosaurs.
I am curious as to what people think. I might ask a similar question involving Mammals.
Why do my comments appear grey and not black?
Yours (and mine) look normal to me. Is your text inverted to white and your name yellow, but the background didn't change to dark grey (stayed medium/light grey)? And what device are you using?
It is very odd, I tried to change by name back to DrReid, but the app said it was already in use.
Then when I returned to post, all my comments now appear as grey with black text.
Currently I am using an iPad 1, but I am having the same trouble on my iPhone...
Have you tried closing then re opening the app, or changing your profile name back to lower case, or both? The background color not toggling for my own posts was something I'd found in testing that we thought was fixed.
I made sure to do that, but still no luck...
Thanks. If you have the room and don't mind, grab a screenshot of the anomaly on your phone. I doubt Tony will need it, but it might be helpful. I'll let you know where to send it if he needs it.
Huh, now I am only having trouble on my iPad, but it seems normal on the phone...
Since Tony is in your other poll, I'll just let you describe the issue and offer the screenshot there. I might be complicating it trying to be in the middle.
That is weird, but maybe it's something at the database end.
Well that was fun! Back to the dinosaur eggs in my refrigerator...
I do, but it would be more correct to say that I think of them as what the dinosaurs that survived the extinction events evolved into. There was an article in Wired magazine a while back about de-evolving a chicken's DNA back into a dinosaur. Cool!
Then I guess we are living Protungulatum donnae
Or maybe even Therapsids! ;)
