How much money do you spend on alcohol and recreational drugs in a typical month?
It varies so much. Sometimes I go to wineries and end up spending more
Zero. Because I'm not a moron.
0. And I aspire to always spend that amount
Free weed ✌
I do not like to be drunk or party all the time, but I enjoy craft and luxury beer, so I tend to spend well over $50.00 on alcohol per month.
I get my weed free, so probably about $15 on beer. I'm on a diet and I've significantly reduced the amount I drink.
If you count cigarettes as recreational drug it's a bit over.
Zip. Don't do either
Zero and yes I live in Colorado.
$0. My beer (and occasional Scotch) is supplied by the folks I housesit for, although these days I only drink about 2 bottles of stout a month.
Probably $150+/month on alcohol. I tend to buy drinks for people when I go out.
Plus, buying large bottles cost more money up front, but it saves in the long run.
😂😂⬆️. Me too.
Nothing, I'm not a degenerate
Drinking alcohol makes someone a degenerate?
Binge drinking it, yes. Occasionally, No.
I bet you're fun at parties.
I have a feeling that he doesn't get invited to a lot of parties.
I don't need alcohol to have a good time.
@Luft: it depends when and where you are.
For example, in Munich (or in America at events like NASCAR races), if you don't drink, you're a wuss.
Praet is right. You say you have to assimilate to the culture you live in... If you go to Germany, would you not drink?
No, I wouldn't drink, although I wouldn't stop them as long as they weren't heavily drinking all the time. My family lived in Germany for a while before coming to the US, never once did they drink alcohol.
So you don't care about assimilation then.
Getting drunk isn't part of assimilating to German culture. By your logic a Barbarian kid in Germany wearing a lederhosen isn't German because he's not downing a pint of beer.
Ease up Luft.
I don't like to be called degenerate just because I sometimes lift a beer Stein 😎
I just think it's funny that you complain about German culture being destroyed by immigrants while you're calling an aspect of the current German culture degenerate. I'm in Germany btw. Just drank some alcohol, I don't feel degenerate.
I said occasional drinking is fine, however, Binge drinking, or spending more than $50 a month on average on alcohol is a degenerate act in my opinion. Your body wasn't made for being a drunk, or a smoker.
Depends on the month
I like to get fucked up as much as the next person, but I'm also very frugal, so I just don't understand why everyone spends a shitload on alcohol and drugs. I can buy 1.75 liters of Vlad for like $15, and that lasts me quite a few months.
Now, cheap alcohol tastes like shit, but this problem is easily solved with soda or (if you're a little more health conscious) sparkling/flavored water. Tastes great to me.
Haha. Cole, I love your brutal honesty.
I just don't get it, Early. Is expensive alcohol really worth the price?
It is to me because I can afford the good stuff and can tell the difference. When I was younger, cheap was great. Have you heard of Mad Dog 50 50? I drank it in college. Lol
I haven't...I'm not really a wine drinker, haha. What do you like to drink now?
A 1.75 L bottle will be enough to get you fucked up for months?
I'm a lightweight.
Also, I usually have some beer around too, so yeah, a bottle of Vlad and a few cases of beer will keep me satisfied for a while.
Ok, a few cases plus the bottle is a little more reasonable I guess. How many times per week do you get wasted?
Sometimes, if I skip a Friday. I don't like to get wasted two days in a row...it ends up ruining my Sundays.
Ok if it's just once a week then the bottle and a few cases should last a little while I guess.
EB, I used to drink mad dog in high school! I got a hangover just thinking about that God awful stuff! I agree with you, now that I'm older I don't mind spending money on better stuff.
