"If she gets to pick her judges โ€• nothing you can do, folks,โ€ Trump said with a shrug โ€œAlthough, the Second Amendment people. Maybe there is. I donโ€™t know." Does this sound like Trump suggestion someone shoot either Clinton or her SCOTUS nominee?

To me it should be the other way around, considering I'd probably be the one assassinating Trump if he became President. (Jk I don't own any guns since I can't afford them and don't have a license.)

Haha, no. He's saying that maybe civil rights groups could be successful in opposing her nominees.

The liberal left is so easily upset. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€ even the sight of a real gun scares them.

His response was stupid. He shouldn't have said that period, but he handled it horribly. He should've just said, "I meant that the second amendment is to defend from a tyrannical government, so if it gets to that point, you know what, yeah, Americans have a right to defend themselves and their families against the same tyranny we were under in the first place". Something like that would have gone way better

Former NSA Director Michael Hayden on Trump's statement:

"Well, let me say if someone else said that outside of the hall, he’d be in the back of a police wagon now, with the Secret Service questioning him."

Also: "That’s actually a very arresting comment,” Hayden said. “And it suggests either a very bad taste reference to political assassination and an attempt at humor, or an incredible insensitivity. It may be the latter, an incredible insensitivity to the prevalence of political assassination inside of American history, and how that is a topic that we don’t ever come close to, even when we think we’re trying to be light-hearted."

Michael Hayden and his NSA possibly represents the kind of tyranny the 2nd Amendment was intended to protect us from...

No - but it's clear that he can't form a coherent sentence.

What he clearly means is the 2nd Amendment people are the strongest most influential group in America and when we flex our arms...things get done. Even Obama admitted we are a formidable foe to the gun grabbers agenda.

Doesn't matter. It only takes one Trump lunatic to put a bullet in her head and he gets to be president. And given that almost 40% of his primary supporters believed the South should have won the civil war, there are plenty of armed Trump loons.

A couple of his campaign advisors have already called for Clinton to be executed. He's just adding fuel to the fire. I couldn't care less whether he's doing it intentionally or not. It's dangerous.

And yet it is the liberal left loons who jump on the stage going after Trump. Haven't seen and gun nuts do that. There's a reason for that.

He's trying to sound sarcastic. By the way why was the Orlando shooter's father sitting behind Hillary at her speech yesterday? I'm sure people needed clearance. Wasn't he a Taliban supporter? What a slap in the face to those who have died and their families.

Maybe. A little bit. Just enough to make you wonder if that's what he meant. But it's distanced just enough that he could deny responsibility for the thought or for any actions that others might take. Kinda like many of his other ravings. Because if that's *not* what he meant, it's just a bunch of poorly strung together phrases with no coherence, like a lot of his speech.

It certainly wouldn't be the first reference to violence that he's made toward other people, although they're usually just a bit more direct.

Well, that's not at all surprising.

"You know what, I wanted to hit a couple of those speakers so hard. I would have hit them — no, no — I was gonna hit them. I was all set. And then I got a call from a highly respected governor. ‘How’s it going, Donald?’ I said, ‘Well, it’s going good, but they’re really saying bad things about me. I’m gonna hit them so hard.’ I was gonna hit one guy in particular, a very little guy.

"I was gonna hit this guy so hard, his head would spin. He wouldn’t know what the hell happened."

Yeah. That's who we want to be head of the US government. Not. Ever.

@rons had a good point that it could be referring to the 2nd amendment itself and people defending it.

Of course not. The NRA has a lot of clout. The 2nd amendment people tend to be more aggressive and fight...politically.
