Can morality exist without God or religion?
Nothing exists without God. My opinion and belief.
Yes. Here are the studies to support this:
What do these studies have to do with morality. They point to kids being nice.
Yes, but it is extremely difficult. I don't think that a majority of humankind has evolved enough to make it so. So at present, no, but it is possible, one day.
And without some being outside of our natural world to anchor our morality to, those who mutilate small girls in Africa have no less basis for their morals than a lmao Americans value of equality.
Nope, and without some sort of outside God, gods, or spirits, free will does not exist, humans are just a product of their environment.
Not objective morality.
We can not know the answer. Since man has existed, we have had religious beliefs. Those beliefs and doctrines shaped how we interact with one another and decide between wrong and right. If we took all religion away, the influence is still there. The only way to know would be to start over entirely without any religious or other belief system being introduced.
Aren't morals the principles of a certain religion??
Of course it can.

Morality is based off of religion.
What is it that God wants that's immoral?
Sorry, I'm not Jewish, so I can't defend that God. The Christian God I know preaches love and tolerance as well as being generous.
lolilover - God does not want anyone to go to hell. There is no where in the Christian Bible that you see that stated or implied. In fact, the constant message is the God wants no one to perish, but to have an eternal relationship with him. We have the freedom to choose our path, one that is in relationship with him and one that is not. Should you choose to not have that relationship, there is a consequence. But throughout scripture we are reminded that God does not want for that and longs for people to choose him. That's the entire point of Jesus, to bridge the gap between a holy God and a sinful person. I'm sorry if that was never explained to you or you were told otherwise.
All of us are sinners, so it is contradictory to say he wants sinners to go to hell. 2 Peter 3:9 says "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." He wants no one to go to hell, but those that rebel against Him and refuse Him have chosen their own path. He doesn't wish or force anyone there.
Christianity says we have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. We are saved by grace, which includes forgiveness through the redemption provided by Christ and through a sincere relationship with him. You should spend as much time studying and reading up on truths rather than spreading inaccurate and false statements. If you truly are as you have stated in other poll responses, criminal, pedophile, etc, you need serious help and should be banned from this forum. However, I'm certain you are a teen trying to get a rise out of people. You won't get that from me. The love and grace of God is open for all. Even Satan, who you seem to admire in some way, bows to God. His demons tremble at the name of Christ. Anything contrary that you say or hear is a lie and deception. I wish you well and hope you decide to stop playing games here.
Yes. It exists right now, doesn't it?
