Assuming you couldn't leave your chosen country for ten years, would you rather move to Russia or China?
I would say Russia because of less populations, more space, more freedom.
Alot warmer in china plus tons of sightseeing for the 10 year stay
Never China. They imprison their political rivals if they can, have horrendous environmental & occupational safety laws, I've heard from an eye witness on radio one of thier rivers is so polluted it is green, coal miners die by the dozens annually, so it seems. China doesn't give a rip about its ppl. Give me the good, genuine Christian population in Russia any day. I have two good Russian friends from the Russia/Ukraine region: they are excellent men & friends. They & thier families currently reside near Cleveland, OH. They work harder than most Americans I know & have better character &'integrity than me.
Russia has more women
China is a lot more attractive looking to me.
I just got back from living in China. Strangers came up to me regularly telling me I'm beautiful, they're so helpful and generous too.
The scenery is amazing.
And your dollar goes so far! I would spend about $1.50 at lots of restaurants.
I was in China for about a month and loved it. Wasn't a huge fan of the pollution but the people were great and so was the food :)
I would rather live in China because Russia is controlled so closely it is unbelievable. Yes the population in China is way over the max but I would rather live life around lots then being told strictly what I can and can't do. There is laws in China as well but they are no where near Russia's
People say China is overpopulated, but that's only in a handful of their cities. I really liked it there.
Yeah. I'd take it any day over Russia
I'd like the food much better in China, but the people and government better in Russia. Russia it is. I'm of Hungarian descent and was raised in a Polish neighborhood...Russians...them's my people :).
Maybe they'd absorb Ukraine while I was there, so I could visit James White and the fine people at wargaming.net headquarters. (creators of World of Tanks/Warplanes/Warships).
I'll just stay here thanks
I'll take one of the modern capitalist Chinese coastal cities. They sure as hell beat decaying infrastructure, dying free market, and increasingly tyrannical government in Russia.
There's also the fact that, you know, Russia could easily dissolve into a civil war within the next ten years.
Russia, so I can escape the hear of summer.
Oh yea, Napoleon & Hitler loved those "chilly" Russian winters. Hope that would work out for ya ❄️❄️❄️😂
As long as he doesn't try to conquer it, he should be fine. Shack up with the nearest peasants if you get too cold.
China is huge, you can pick the climate you want. Beijing has really nice summer temperatures. Just saying.
I'd take my fishin pole and head or the Crimean shoreline.
Really want to check out Russia, but if it's a whole 10 years I'd choose China. Beijing would probably keep me entertained and I don't see anywhere in Russia doing the same. If it was like a month or two I'd choose Russia.
I chose China. They have 2 Disney parks and I can always get to the more economically free Hong Kong.
Idk, maybe I meant Shanghai, but I'm too busy watching these American female gym it's kick ass RN.
Hong Kong is not in China. They are very proud of that fact.
China is rising this century. Russia is not.
I lived there already. Wouldn't be my first choice, but at least I have friends and speak the language.
That's a toughie. I chose Russia because I've been to St. Petersburg, and I enjoyed the food and vodka while there 😜
Idk about the stability of either but Chinese food? I think that's my biggest factor for china:) haha.
Not much if a choice but I say China because I think the weather is a little better there and I also choose Hong Kong!
Oh I didn't see that as an option. Could you show me the choice?
China. I've always wanted to see their pyramids!
Russia undoubtably, very orthodox country.
What's with all the Russia love from Republicans? What a bunch of Commies. And I know from Commies, I studied Russian history in college. 😜
Even though Russia is no longer communist and its citizens almost completely reject the idea of communism. But yeah, we're the commies.
China, Americans can live well there teaching ESL classes. I know people who have done it.
I teach business and ESL in China now, and I love it.
If the destination is Hong Kong for China I would consider it but otherwise I would prefer Russia
Hong Kong is not China. But China is also not nearly as bad as I expected.
We'll Christianity is pretty much banned in both places so
Uhhhh? Well China you are right but Russia is a very Christian nation.... Very very very Russian orthodox.
Yeah,I heard tho that they made some law where you couldn't evangelize and stuff
That's hardly banning Christianity. It wouldn't fly here because of free speech but you're still free to be as Christian as you want in Russia
True but of Amy religion anyways, and as a Christiam spreading the gospel to the world is one of the biggest let's of being a Christian do
Russia has some Islamic mosques.
I went to a Christian church every week in China. You can't proselyte, but I was free to worship.
I applied for a job in China, so there you have it. It didn't work out, but I was excited about the opportunity.
Which has the more ores sieve government? Or are they about the same?
Russia strikes me as the more oppressive govt and economically they're worse off than China.
Nah China is waaaaaay more oppressive. Look up the occupation of Tibet.
Tibet is not a good representation of China.
I just got back from living in Guangdong, and I loved it! I think foreigners might be less oppressed but I didn't see anything crazy oppressive for anyone.
A crappy choice either way. If anybody from the U.S. had to live in 🇨🇳China or 🇷🇺Russia, they would quit bitching & appreciate living here.!🇺🇸
I loved living in China, but I was happy to come back to my family and boneless chicken again.
China so that hopefully I could be some place warm
I wanna say China but I like Russian girls better
Until they're 23 anyway. Then the vodka and smoking makes them look 80
That's what bags are for
Maybe the bag from the vodka. Then it's recycling
♻️ go green 💆🏻
I'll just have to suffer and eat dim sum for 10 years... I'll survive just fine!
Air quality and life quality for the average citizen are better I'm Russian cities than in Chinese cities.
In not I'm*£
The air quality is bad in the major cities but the city I was in (population of 2mil) wasn't bad at all. ( I wasn't there in December or January but February on was fine).
Shanghi is great
China, the people are very friendly to westerns. Would be an enjoyable time. Russia seems rough and the people might not be as friendly.
The two phrases I heard in English the most were "Nice to meet you" and "You are beautiful."
Such friendly people!
There's three to one ratio women to men in Russia. Of course I'd go to Russia being a white male. Hell id probably go there now if I wasn't on parole
This may be the best response ever! 😂
What are you on parole for?
I change my vote to Russia now
потому что русские женщины красивы
Russia. Life under Putin is better than any communist system. Besides, what's not to like about vodka and polar bears?
I could hang out with Ed.
Women & Vodka...I mean, Russia.
I have a phobia of noodles. Like other people fear spiders.
Russia... Cuz I don't eat dog.
Wow these Chinese meatballs really are the dog's b*llocks
I lived in St Petersburg with a Russian family for two weeks. The people were intelligent, friendly and extremely interested in American politics. That said, the country is a mess. The people are well educated but under employed. The food is not so great. I'd take my chances with China.
i would choose russia because their letters look cool. I would like to learn their language.
