That's false. Babies' brains aren't developed enough to differentiate between credible and incredible, if they can even comprehend that concept at all (not likely). They will become a product of the environment they grow up in and the people who raised them, and accept them as credible at least until they reach the stage in their development when they can understand the concept of credible vs incredible (known as teenage rebellion, if it is determined that their parents aren't very credible after all).
I doubt they have the life experience to judge credibility, it's monkey see monkey do.
