Do you have a go-to "creative outlet"?
Mines embarrassing but yea
Gym. It's the only thing I do when I'm stressed or need to de-stress.
Piano. Although since I'm merely reading music, I'm not sure it qualifies as creative.
Of course it is, just as acting is creative even though you're just reciting someone else's words. A good musician puts himself into anything he plays, either through technique or through improv changes.
If you are breathing your heart and soul into it... It's creative!
Video games and writing.
Making fun of people who post workout times on Facebook.
Superglue, soldering iron, and anything I find within half a mile. Plus writting, programming, drawing and digging holes. I decided to dig a 5 cubic meter hole once when I was 12ish years old.
There were lots of Indian artifacts in my area, so as a kid I regularly engaged in "digs." Found a number of arrowheads, spear points, and stone tools, too.
The drum kit. It can take quite a beating
Knitting, crochet, writing... not as much gardening as I'd like & for a little while at least, even less than I have had.
Also, just brainstorming & problem solving.
Typically just playing guitar or banjo are my go to creative outlets. That and arguing with people online for no reason.
Writing short fiction and photography
I don't have creative thoughts
Dungeons and Dragons. I'm an Omwati Jedi who got sucked into this crazy magic dimension through a black hole. The concept was intended to piss off my sons for not thinking of it themselves, but it's turned out to be surprisingly fun.
I've been playing a sort of modern day zombie apocalypse D&D type game lately. Loads of fun!
I love to decorate my home!
Writing a book.
I like sewing, quilting, decorating my fingernails, and tending my plants.
I build spaceships on an old version of Google Sketchup.
Okay, that's cool.
Thanks! If you're interested, you can see some of my work by searching for Fallon Kell in the Trimble 3D warehouse.
Colored pencil art
I don't even know what you're referring to. So, I guess that answers it for me.
Favorite composer and piece?
I'm a jazz gal so I'd have to say Bill Evans!
Guitar and going to play hockey by myself.
Chainsaw carving. Just finished a 7k bear for the owner of Haagen Dazs
Does bashing on SoH democrats count?
Even though it is easy to bash a Bernie supporter.
Yes, my band
Reorganizing my bodily fluid jars. I alternate between color and date bimonthly.
Fluids from your body or bodily fluids that you collected from other people? Because I can't imagine jars full of anything from yourself except for urine and that seems boring.
Don't judge me!
Wait a second, you're actually serious?! Haha, that's so strange. No judgement, though. 😬
Everybody does it. They just don't admit it.
Teaching and mentoring college engineers on leadership
Part time rock star.
Me too! 💕
Kind of. Inventing something or fixing something MacGyver-style keeps me entertained. Today I fixed the old computer chair that kept self-lowering by installing a 9 1/2 inch length of 2 inch pvc pipe over the failing gas lift cylinder, permanently setting it to just the right height for free. So better than new, and $15-$20 in beer money in my pocket. That's my kind of creativity!
Building forts in Fallout 4.😝
What's your favorite piece?
I've always really liked chopin's military polonaise
Writing books while is listen to Psychicpebbles stream.
Knitting, cooking I like creating patterns and recipes.
I do best in a pitch black room with a small light
fragging noobs in call of duty
Cod is gay now
CoD is gay? Its ok for now. I cant wait for BF1
Collecting the souls of my enemies.
Writing music ❤️
Would so love that gift.
Standard notation or tablature?
@lagg Standard notation
Don't like art so no
No, but I should get one.
Taking a nap. Going for a walk. Listening to music.
