Not sure about South Dakota, but in Tennessee the time zone split is west of Chattanooga.

None. People have known their time zone ever since they were little kids; especially so now that everyone has Internet access; there are some things people just KNOW and their time zone is one of them. Maybe if a kid is just ten they might not know, but anyone older than ten surely knows.

I was just thinking that. The time zone stops at the Alabama line, so everyone is in Eastern time. Dumb people. lol

You are right. On the other hand, Ohio is totally in the eastern time zone. Yet, 5% of Ohioans appear not to know that.

EarlyBird - Ontario and a couple of other small towns are in the Mountain time zone. However, the population of Oregonians living in Mountain Time is probably under 40,000.

I googled "Oregon time zones." I found www.timetemperature.com/tzus/oregon_time_zone.shtml

"Most of Oregon is in the Pacific Time Zone. Mahler County is an exception. Most of Malheur is in the Mountain Time Zone."

Buenos Aires (and all of Argentina) is 4 time zones away from MST, and 2 away from EST. Seems crazy to think of, since Argentina is so far away.
