Sunday night, John Kasich (R-OH) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) issued statements that they would join forces to deprive Donald Trump of the nomination by focusing their efforts in only certain states. Should this type of political collusion be permitted?

Not only allowed, but encouraged. It helps identify who not to support, in that or any subsequent election. The twins are toast as far as I'm concerned.

I'm surprised that they're being so public about this. I'm sure it has happened before, just not so blatantly.

I predict that this will come back to bite them in the ass. It reeks of everything the American people say they hate about politics/politicians. But it's not illegal so of course it's permitted.

I asked if it should be.

I agree with you. This will likely infuriate a lot of people who already believe politics are underhanded. This might help Trump even more. These 2 guys are bookends: both fools.

It likely shouldn't be. But, any laws passed about will be easily circumvented in a similar manner where a candidate isn't allowed to coordinate with a SuperPAC.

I agree. It is but it shouldn't be and unless the public clearly indicates they will not tolerate it, it will just continue.
