In the past several years we've seen more investment in clean energy & a global agreement to address climate change. We've also seen massive coral bleaching & rising temps. Is the state of the planet beginning to improve or is it still in decline?

There was little global change IMO, but you could argue that the decline is decelerating, but still declining.

We are improving our contribution to this crisis, but it still isnt enough to keep the overall situation from worsening.

In respect to human habitation it's declining. As far as the earth itself goes it's just changing like it's always done.

It's not just just declining. The temperature is ACCELERATING upward. We're a long way from solving this problem.

The "global agreement" is only by those seeking more power and control. I wish the sheeple would stop feeding from the trough.

As substantiative and well-reasoned as the "sheeple" argument always is, why are you opposed to addressing climate change on a global scale?

Because the government is the biggest factor in the human side of climate change. And the government is not planning on changing any time soon.

Because the solution that the govts are proposing will cost us trillions of dollars we don't have. It will cost millions of people their jobs and regressively affects poor people the most.

Because man-made climate change is a fake.

Good point about governments, actually. The US military is the biggest consumer of oil in the world.

Not to mention chem trials and deforestation and producing toxic waste.

There's nothing wrong with consuming oil.
