Harriet Tubman was a disgusting criminal. Jackson was a great president and should remain on the $20. Agree or Disagree?

The thing is why is Jackson on the $20 bill anyway, he hated banks, closed them and caused the our first recession

Harriet Tubman will not make the $20 worth any more than Jackson

Technically criminal.. I dislike slavery.

I'd rather replace Lincoln.

You make me embarrassed as a conservative. I dont judge people based on their political views. If they are a good person, they are a good person.

I say we have a synthesis of both and call it the "Conservabals!" It'll be the new superhero franchise that'll discuss how unlikely allies can work together by putting their best foot forward and defeating some random bulls**t enemy like aliens from Mars or North Korea.

Andrew Jackson went against the Supreme Court. That sounds criminal. He also set us up for the Depression and forcefully deposed many Natives from their land. He was disgusting.

He payed off our National debt, as for the Indians part you shouldn't judge Jackson from the morals of today, but rather the morals of his time. What he did wasn't unorthodox for his time period. For example, in a 100 years from now people will think you're probably a racist, and intolerant for your current beliefs.

He caused inflation and helped cause the Panic of 1837. And the difference between Jackson and, say, me (or other presidents around his time) is he acted on his "racist and intolerant" thoughts more so than others. Plus, it's not like everyone was like that. People like Henry Clay opposed violent ally driving people off of land that was theirs. You aren't addressing everything I brought up in my original comment though.

She was a criminal in the same way that George Washington and Thomas Jefferson are traitors. I don't like Jackson being removed, but Tubman wasn't a disgusting criminal and I don't mind her being on the new bills.

If we were to go back that far it would have been better to remain part of the British Empire.

Sigh.....more BS that she was a criminal, because she did not think that human beings were property.

She broke the law. That is indisputable and does indeed make her a criminal.
