There were 1,817,552 votes cast in the NY Democrat primary and only 868,987 cast in the GOP. In Trump's home of Manhattan, he lost to Kasich. If the General Election was between the two New Yorkers (Trump v Clinton), who would win the New York?

In 2012, Obama won New York by 26.8%. It has been a blue state for years.

I imagine if you check you'll see democrats out number republicans 3 to 1 in New York. That being said do you honestly think Cruz could bring as many republicans to the polls if Trump wasn't running?

Im the only Republican candidate that stands a chance at taking New York in a General Election. You think the great people of New York would even consider voting for Lyin Ted Cruz if he was the nominee? Not gonna happen!

New York is one of the most solidly blue states. We'd vote for anyone with a D near their name.

New York would by far go to Clinton.... Just remember this when you talk about how much Trump will beat Hillary. If he can't beat her in his home State, he can't beat her in the General.... Plus the polls have Hillary beating him by double digits.
