Thanks, Capt. Obvious! However, a criminal is one who commits crimes regardless of a conviction. Lots of mafia people have gone to trail and have gotten off.....we all know they are still dirty crooks!

So if I kill someone and get off on a technicality I'm not a criminal?

A trial's conclusion is required to exonerate a person or hold a person liable under the law.

A trial is not a requirement for each individual's opinion on the matter that may be litigated.

OJ and Hillary are guilty.

We *don't* actually know for sure. We may *think* we do, but we're not privy to all the pertinent information or the interpretation of law. This is why we have trials.

If a tree falls in the forest..blah, blah, blah..... Regardless of conviction a criminal is one who commits crimes.
