Watching movies at home is more relaxing because you can spend quality time with your friends or family.

Can't watch movies in your underwear at the movie theater.

I like the big screen, but I hate the cost.

07/15/12 12:40 pm

More @ home, but we see a few movies in theaters!

07/15/12 7:31 am

blame the high ticket prices. also think they should have an intermission or allow talking during the movie. i still go anyway to support a movie i like. if you dont go to the movie and pay they wont make a sequel

I like to watch new movies at the movie theater

At home u can talk/ sing along

07/14/12 8:33 am

Usually home but it depends on the movie, there are some where I think it is better to see them in theatre; Harry Potter for example, I have always preferred to see in theatre.

07/14/12 8:05 am

Home. Much less distractions and no obnoxious people. And you can take a bathroom break without missing anything.

Dabrat. Name me a movie worthy of viewing at a theater? I would gladly go.

07/13/12 10:24 pm

I love the big screen for some movies but for me I'd rather not have to pay through the nose for snacks, step in sticky questionable messes, and worry about good seating.

07/13/12 10:05 pm

Home, if you have a dedicated theater room. Nothing better.

Depends on the movie I love going to the theater

07/13/12 8:09 pm

Nothing like sitting in a chair full of dry semen..I'll watch at home

I would prefer the theater if the price of popcorn wasn't so unreasonable

07/13/12 7:28 pm

Why do people think its ok to talk through movies? I hate theatre talkers!

Always better at home.
Mac-Daddy system with a beer in my hand and sitting in my underwear.
Best of all: watching with my wife in her underwear.

After I've seen a movie at a theater I'm almost always glad I went, but if I had a choice beforehand I'd choose to stay home.

Depends entirely in the movie, bu I tend to watch more at home.

Theatres have a bigger screen and it can be in 3D also, so theatres

07/13/12 11:09 am

My home theater system is awesome.

Depends on who's with me. Mostly theater if with friends, if with family or partner then at home.

If movie theaters weren't so expensive, I would.

07/13/12 8:24 am

I only go to the theater for big action type movies. Just saw spiderman... Awesome! Decided to go to that instead of Ted, can watch Ted at home

Shocked at the results? Not me. People are so poorly behaved these days I don't like to do much of ANYTHING in public. People shouting at the screen, undisciplined kids running amok, talking on cell phones... it's ridiculous! It was NOT this way when I was a kid...

I prefer the theater, but I can't afford to go often.

I prefer the theater, so long as the type of people that yell "oh no he didn't" at the screen aren't around.

I like the big screen, big sound, and the absence of a pause button. I want to watch my movies straight through as the director intended.

07/12/12 10:25 pm

Even though it's expensive, I enjoy movie theaters. The screen is huge and it's super loud.

07/12/12 10:16 pm

Theaters suck. Noisy people, expensive food, and no pause button to go pee. What ever happened to intermissions in movies over 2 hours?

Home, where no people are around to annoy me, just my cats And I can watch in my undies. Plus I make better popcorn. With rosemary-infused olive oil. And I can afford that.

07/12/12 9:24 pm

I go to the dollar theater with the kids when its really hot or when threres a movie we really want to see like the harry potter movies

07/12/12 9:07 pm

I only go to the nice independent theatre near me. The tickets are priced at a premium which keeps out the kids and riff-raff. Plus, you can reserve your seat in advance. The people there pay extra for a nice movie experience and are more considerate to those around them.

07/12/12 8:27 pm

Been to the movies 29 times in the last year!

I'm sure no one has gotten to the bottom so ill say it again...the drive in is what I voted by. 2 movies for less than one at the indoor. and its like having your own theater area!!

Hate going to the movies. People talk, chew with their mouths open, kick your seat and cough germs all over you. Haven't been to the theatre in years.

07/12/12 5:57 pm

Theater, because I can't sit through a movie at home. I always start doing other things.

07/12/12 5:25 pm

I have 3 little kids...if they come with (to a kids movie) it is anything but relaxing. If I pay for a babysitter plus the movie tickets, it isn't worth it. The theatre popcorn is much better though!

I don't even remember the last time I went to a theatre!!! I was considering going to a movie this weekend, though. Probably won't. Doesn't have anything to do with cost, I'm just a home-body and prefer to be at home!!!

07/12/12 4:13 pm

There's something about seeing a special effects movie on a giant screen.
It also cool to be in a theater when the audience collectively gasps at a thrilling scene or bursts out laughing at a hilarious moment.

I put cost aside and chose theater. But if you take cost into account, I would choose home, but some movies are better to watch in the theater, like high action and special effects movies.

I love going to the theater, but my husband and I tend to buy the DVDs and watch at home. Prefer the comfort, ability to pause, and buying the used DVD to OWN is far cheaper than movie tickets.

07/12/12 3:24 pm

If I want to see a movie at all I'm going to see it in the theater.
