Did you know that women win elections (local, state, and federal) at the same rate as men, but the only reason there is a lack representation is because they don't run?

The same could be said for CEOs and any other position where women are under represented.

"1.1 Election Results Evidence.
An obvious place to start is to look at actual election results. Selzer, Newman and Voorhees Leighton sum up how female candidates fared in general elections from 1972-1994 by stating “When women run, women win... as often as men do.”4 One small proviso needs to be added to that statement, women win as often as men do when we compare similar candidate types. If one merely compares male and female candidates running for the U.S. Congress, men do win more often than women. This occurs, however, not because they are men, but because they are incumbents."
