You are put in charge of choosing a new face for Mt. Rushmore. Who do you choose and why?

None. Or Andrew Jackson for those of you that understand the terrible awful irony that'd be. It'd be bad to add more four was one too many.

Who up there was one too many?

Comment was horribly written. Just ignore it. It meant to say 4 was 4 too many but that's not the proper expression either.

Oh so you just don't like the monument?

Correct it's sort of a duck you to native americans. So I really am against any further additions.

How is it anymore of a f*ch you to native Americans than any other monument?

Just a brief history lesson it's not that long. Sioux holly land stolen for gold with giant white men faces carved into it insult to injury.

A) they got there own crazy horse monument
B) native tribes fought over territory all the time, the US gov't tribe just beat them at their own game
C) they oughta be thankful we brought them out of the Stone Age

Ben Franklin because he was the founding father who best defined American values.

Martin Luther King Jr. or Malcolm X, nothing more inspiring than freedom fighters who died for their beliefs.

There's been a petition floating around for a while to get him up there. The great communicator. It's only a matter of time :)

William Henry Harrison. He died after 30 days in office, doing the least damage of any president.

I had to write a report on any president and talk about their policies and legislation that they were in charge of. I chose Harrison and did the least amount of work of anyone. A+

Once her term is over, I'll vote for Hillary Clinton. After all, she'll be the first woman president.

I think a good non-president would be Thomas Paine. He is under appreciated in my opinion. His writings and propaganda were the driving force behind civilian support and public opinion during the revolution.

If a Democrat, then Kennedy, if a Republican then Reagan. Both stood up to the Soviet threat.

I'd put Chuck Norris on there. Just kidding. I'd put, JFK. They haven't taught us much about him, but, from what I've learned, he should be there. We went to the moon with that president, we made the first jetpack, we were living the dream with him!

JFK died in 1963 we landed on the moon in 1969...

Well, he said we were going to be on the moon at the end of the decade.

I think she means him drastically increasing the budget for NASA. He attempted to do a lot of great things as president, for which the CIA killed him for.

JFK'S vision is what made the moon landing happen when it did, even though the technology didn't exist yet and though it seemed impossible at the time he set forth the vision. I'd definitely give him the credit

Andrew Jackson for defeating the British, and to see the liberal's reaction.

Him or possibly Joseph Warren

I like the Joseph warren idea, never thought of him before. Jackson is a definite top 5. I think Hamilton would be in consideration too.

Yeah. From left to right it's Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt, Lincoln. It's always bothered me that they aren't in chronological order.

AmericanWolf For the Benefit of All

In all seriousness, I'm tired and I meant Franklin.

Though maybe it would be worth it to put Roosevelt on the other side of Lincoln?
