Yesterday, California became the 3rd state + D.C to give women full and unrestricted access to any type of birth control that they want, even if they don't have a written prescription that grants said access.
Republicans be like: It's not a woman's place to have choices..
No opinion, just an old man ; )
Bad idea. Babies deserve to be born. Who are we to say they can't exist?
Because we're the ones that are making the kids.
Hesitant because of all the interactions and side effects that could end up hurting someone. I think it's good overall but it could also be dangerous.
My only concern aside from medical (especially drug interactions) is, does this take away the option of insurance covering prescribed birth control?
This is generally good, aside from the fact that many hormonal birth controls have unexpected and generally harmful side effects, so it's very important to see a doctor beforehand.
That's the whole issue I have with it.
Or the issue of drug interactions. I didn't think about my birth control when I was at an urgent care yesterday. It came up when they pulled my record though, so the Dr knew to give meds that wouldn't interfere with it (or to have told me if I were taking oral, as I got antibiotics). It's easy to forget something.
That's the scary thing. I can't take birth control for a multitude of reasons none that would have been known if I wasn't seeing a doctor who monitored me.
Great. Why would anyone oppose this?
The only reason I can think of is maybe safety issues
I love your screen name and location tag by the way! 😂
