I think of the seasons as being aligned with the months. I know we can't because of the equinox, but would you hypothetically be opposed to shifting the named seasons to 12/1-2/28 (Winter), 3/1-5/31 (Spring), 6/1-8/31 (Summer), and 9/1-11/30 (Fall)?
