Today is National beer day... are you celebrating?
Actually, I did. I haven't been drinking beer because I've been on a low-carb diet, but I was unable to resist a Graham Cracker Porter today.
On April 7, 1933, President Franklin Roosevelt took the first step toward ending Prohibition and signed a law that allowed people to brew and sell beer, in the United States, as long as it remained below 4.0% alcohol by volume (ABV). Beer drinkers celebrated and were happy to be able to purchase beer again for the first time in thirteen years.
My doctor gave me the clear to drink beer again! 🍻🍺
What a great doctor
Exactly! Best news of the week
Yes I will. I may brew some beer to celebrate.
You brew your own? Cool
I brew, too, and I am getting ready to open a batch that is ready to go. Amber Ale that rest in used whiskey barrels for 2 weeks.
Well, now I have a reason to.
