What do you call the meat that you put in tacos?
"Taco meat" or "ground beef/turkey"
Neither I call it ground beef
Chicken or fish
Hamburger meat, usually, regardless of what ground meat is used.
I call it "Ground Beef."
Honestly, I prefer fish tacos.
If I'm making tacos with beef, I'd just call it ground beef.
Me too! I prefer fish
Fish tacos sounded terrible to me when a friend told me about them. But she dragged me to a place that she said made great fish tacos, and then had a nice salsa bar, so I tried them. I was amazed by how much I liked them, and how well the equally odd-sounding traditional cabbage seemed to go perfectly with them. It's about all I order now, when they're available.
Have you ever had squid tacos?
No. I'm a little squeamish about squid. I've had it before; I've even cooked it at home. It was a long time ago, though. I don't even remember much about the taste, just that something about it put me off. Even so, I might be willing to try it.
What about sashimi tacos? Do you like raw fish?
