Could a doctor's sexual orientation have any impact on whether or not you see them?
No. How would I even know that?
I don't know, they might mention a spouse in passing or have a picture somewhere. Not necessary to know of course, but I know my primary physician is married with children just from passing small talk.
Not at all
Has no bearing at all... What matters is their ability to do a good job.
I love how some people think that just because a doctor is gay they might try something on you... Note to straight people, you're a patient not a perspective date... Oh and you're probably not all that! 😂
The second part! 😂
The question didn't say gay btw. Most doctors are straight, so shouldn't people worry more about a straight doctor of the opposite sex which is more likely?
I'd hope doctors behave overall professionally: no doctor-patient sexual come-ons.
The only qualities that are important for me: competence and really caring about my health problem.
No male gay docs for me thanks...
If its,a guy, who has to fondle the junk, I'm not ok with that
"Sexual orientation", no but "sex" could matter.
Orientation does not matter to me at all. The one thing related to sexuality that would be a concern would be if my doctor expressed disbelief in or opposition to non-hetero sexualities.
Zero. Honestly, why the heck would I care?
I've had physicians that I knew were gay, but that's because I knew them outside of their practice.
Nope. I'm more concerned with his/her ability to do the job.
As fare as I'm concerned, their orientation is hardly any of my business.
