This is not a zombie question! The invisible powers that be gag at what's running for president. We can bring back one former president and they will be like they were when they served office. Dead or alive. Who would you bring back?

Kennedy. It would've been interesting to see what he would have accomplished if he had lived to serve a second term

Calvin Coolidge

Id bring back one of the Roosevelts. Probably teddy since he was fixed the gilded age and that seems more like our society now.

Eisenhower, the first modern Republican.

Republicans would eat Reagan alive if he were to come back as president. The Republican Party has moved so far to the right that Reagan would be too centrist.

04/05/16 11:17 pm

Ronald Reagan!

Mr Washington. We need to reset, and get rid of career politicians. We need MrW to lead the way forward to a better state.

Jefferson was the man behind our Nation. He would know what is towards a modern version of the Founding Fathers' dream. That being said, Lincoln was a great leader, and Reagan knew how to operate things. It makes me sad to see how far both the DNC and GOP have fallen in terms of candidate quality since Reagan.

Truman. The only one with balls enough to nuke the shit out of the Middle East. Maybe flatten Mecca and out the fucking Muslims out of business for the foreseeable future.

If I can't have Ted Cruz, I will settle for Ronald Reagan.

04/06/16 4:50 am

You cannot ever have Ted Cruz.

Reagan. So reasonable.

Only Teddy Roosevelt!

Jefferson. He came up with a vast majority of what this country should be. Lets see what he thinks of where we are.

Washington. Quite possibly the only president we've ever had who wasn't a self-interested prick.

Jimmy Carter wasn't either.

I mean, some were worse than others. But we've only ever had one that never tried to get himself elected, rejected the notion of partisan political parties, and retired willingly even under pressure to stay in office and potentially even become king.

Karion ... granted, Mr Carter was/is a humble man, but he failed miserably as president.

I grew up in South Wales with many family members from the Valleys which were devastated by the Conservative government of 79-90. Up there she is the antichrist as well as in many parts of Northern England and Scotland

I remember when they had that terrible landslide in Wales so many children were killed. When she died I was surprised that the animosity so many people felt

You mean Aberfan in 1966? That is only 15 miles up the road from me 😁 yeah Thatcher is like marmite in Britain, you either absolutely love her or you absolutely hate her, and i think most people hate her now.

I was thinking either Reagan or Lincoln. However, Lincoln was biased toward the race. But that could be a sign of the time for that kind of thought has changed a great deal. Mary Todd would sure make for some interesting PR. Poor woman was not treated well and suffered a great deal.
