A plant-based diet consists primarily of fruits, grains, and vegetables and limits or eliminates animal products. Do you follow a plant-based diet?
Vegetarian who likes the idea of veganism
I eat a lot of plant-based meals because my husband is vegan. But I am not.
I don't think I could do it.
I think it's one of those things that once you get used to it, you realize you don't really miss the other. Or at least that's how it was for me, I know many people love their meat.
True. My vegan husband really doesn't miss meat.
No, but I'm thinking about upping my fruits and veggies and going to a low fat diet to cut weight
Animal products play a primary role in my high-protein diet.
Veg/vegan since 1999.
A what based diet?
Nope and have no plans to.
Nope, not a cow.
No, but most of the animals I eat are on a plant based diet, so I feel like I'm doing my part.
I didn't claw my way up to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables .... That's on the t-shirt from one of my favorite restaurants ... !
What, most meals?
Bingo! I get migraines and the doc said not enough of some protein/vitamin or whatever found in meat could help trigger. And I love the taste. I rarely go meals without meat, actually.
I'd like to start. I'm trying to wean off meat first, but eating with my parents makes it take time.
Agreed, it's tougher with family meals. I first went to eating poultry or fish 1-2 times a week and red meat once a month which was reasonable for them to accommodate.
I've convinced my mum to cut meals with meat from 5 or 6 to 3 or 4, but I plan on going further.
Chi, l've heard it's one of the best ways to deal with climate change and be environmentally friendly individually. I support that.
Hell yeah! Eating only plants is better for the animals, the environment and me. It's a lot easier than many people think and I never feel like I'm "missing out."
Not currently. I have been a vegetarian in the past, and vegan for quite a few years.
Nope. I am an omnivore.
I've followed a plant based diet since early teenage years. I've been a vegetarian for 3 years (including 6 months as a vegan).
No, but I'm getting there.
