If ive said it once ive said it a million times, the whole immigrants are ruining our culture bullsh*t is nothing new, there is always at least one group that is being scapegoated in society for doing that. It just so happens that at the moment it is Arabs/ Africans. Its especially bad in Britain, weve had immigration scaremongering against loads of groups in recent history; Irish, Polish, Black, Italian, Romanian, Baltics (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania), Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis. Hell its even been used against American immigrants. I think "British society" just hates immigration full stop it is just willing to ignore immigration from the groups that arent being targeted

Two years before in 1909, the superior courts of DC ruled that people of Armenian, Assyrian, and Jewish descent were legally 'white' in the United States and that they could freely immigrate. The same year after a Lebanese man sued for citizenship, Judge Hutton extended the legal rights of being 'white' to all middle easterners. This was later also granted to North Africans as well. The Supreme Court, however, drew the white line in the sand by denying legal 'white' status to Japanese people in Ozawa v. United States and to Indians in United States v. Bhagat Singh Thind (1923).

But Italians, Greeks, an Spaniards are truly evil! Oh the fucking irony.
