Do you have a naturally rebellious tendency?
Don't we all? It's called "concupiscence."
I'm a solid neutral good.
I'll get on a crowded elevator...and face the back.
Also, I am a Leo. I think that this is just natural.
I am a lone wolf. I go against my socially acceptable roles, I post politics, and, I am a nerd with a crossbow.
I tore one of those tags off a mattress once.
I guess I am a little.
I don't do things just to "rebel", but if other people oppose what i want, it doesn't bother me.
I find that I do, but given that I'm still in adolescence, that's not unusual. I've had to learn to keep a harness on it, though. Especially in recent years in my walk with Christ. I've learned to find ways to redirect that rebellious energy into better things, like my music, for instance.
I am an aquarius its natural to me.
Astrology is bullshit
“Disobedience, in the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man's original virtue. It is through disobedience that progress has been made, through disobedience and through rebellion." - Oscar Wilde
I once ate cereal...without milk
Oh, Hell Yah!
I don't know. I would say I hate being controlled and I make my mind up on my own and I don't let people think for me. I would say I have a rebellious streak in me but I wouldn't say it's like my defining archetype behavior or whatever.
Yep. I'm an American.
I'm not rebellious just for the sake of being so but i tend to be with a lot of things and in a lot of situations
I'm a conservative Republican who writes poetry while dressing like a flower child. I may be more oxymoron than rebel.
Very. Rebel at heart- not necessarily a bad thing: it makes you think
My dad used to say the best way to get me to do something was to tell me not to do it. I think that's still true today.
Taxation is theft JFK was killed by the CIA end the fed MUH FREEDOMS
Oh yeah! I play devil's advocate with just about everything, and fail to understand why people act like sheep, only to follow the herd right to the slaughterhouse.
No, that's foolish. I'm not inclined to rebel, that's not my first thought. To constantly be under the initial impression that I know better than others is dumb. If there is good reason to rebel, then of course I will. But there often isn't.
You tell me
Taxation is theft!
From the working class Yeah I can see that. But I wouldn't call taxing the bourgeoisie theft. Their money was obtained through theft anyway
Holy shit AC
Wait so then how are you anarchist?
Yes, I'm naturally rebellious. I don't like authority. That may surprise some people here, who think they know me. 😈
Not just for the sake of it - but yes I am often times. I'm smart with the battles I pick as well though.
I'm always down to let it burn. If it doesn't really effect me I like to just watch just to see how bad it can get. Also if I think I can get away with you you better believe I'll give it the ol college boy try.
I'm not rebellious, simply for the sake of rebellion. I'm a bit more measured and try to pick my battles judiciously. It's cool if ya wanna be a contrarian, or be in opposition to everything, but in the end it's such an effort in futility. At some point, in spite of oneself, a rebel still has to live and exist within the framework we all share, and I know that doesn't sit well with many. It doesn't mean we stop the fight, it only means we adapt it. Be a rebel but be clever, else your first fight seems it'll always be with yourself.
Simmer down bro
Yes. Ridiculously so. It takes all of the discipline I have to override it sometimes. Of the five hazardous attitudes, Antiauthority, Impulsivity, Invulnerability, Macho, and Resignation, Antiauthority is the only one I wrestle with, and it is a constant battle. And that's assuming I even acknowledge the legitimacy of the authority, which in most cases, I probably do not.
I would say impulsivity and antiauthority for me. But you stated it very well (what I couldn't explain) I often just don't acknowledge authority
No, which is weird because I'm an anarchist.
What kind of anarchist?
I came out kicking and screaming!
I ride bike with only one hand on handle bar, eat slightly undercooked pork, wear brand new socks on hardwood floors, refuse to wear sunscreen, and I don't even check smoke detector batteries annually
I'm not much for bragging, but I'm pretty much a bad ass
Sorry bro they adjusted the smoke detector battery guidelines to 13 months (something to do with ESSA) so you aren't really as badass as you used to be bruh
I don't understand the relationship between brand new socks and hardwood floors.
I don't do well with authority figures
I was always a people pleaser.
Eh, not rebellious for the sake of being rebellious but I also don't like conforming for the sake of conforming.
Everyone is born a natural rebel.
That's why we need parents.
Oh Absolutely 😈
I'm atheist. I wish that wasn't the rebellious thing to do but sadly it is.
There are two kinds of atheists
Those who simply do not see evidence for god
Those who are mad at daddy, want to do something "rebellious", and think Islam is cool
You forgot about the ones who are mad at mommy
The militant atheists, hate Islam too, have you ever seen Richard Dawkins. What you meant were the progressive bleeding lgbtq atheists dude.
Haha. Mad at mommy and daddy. That's funny. And the "no evidence for god" is an understatement. 10,000 children under the age of 5 die from starvation EVERY day... Thank god for that right? And the Islam thing. That's just as ridiculous. There is no god. Just myths and fables that have been passed down by uneducated people that believed in magic for centuries. I'm sure Noah's ark and a talking snake seem normal and real to you but I beg to differ.
"I'm sure Noah's ark and a talking snake seem normal and real to you"
What are you talking about buddy? I'm an atheist.
Thanks for proving my point jm
Just leave people and their beliefs alone. Gosh, intolerance seems to be the biggest myth out there. Very few who preach it actually practice it—they're just tolerant of different people than those they deem intolerant.
I wish both would shut UP. I don't care if you don't think there's a god, I don't care if you think god talks through your flip flops, I don't go running around screaming that I don't know IF god exists. Maybe I should. lol
God dosent exist dood 🙄 idiot.
You have the right to say he doesn't just as much as I have the right to say he does. My point is, let people believe what they want.
This is why I fucking HATE talking about religion. People get stuck on stupid talking about it. Good thing I don't know who Richard Dawkins is, I have never read any religious or anything that has to do with it except the bible (and that was out of curiosity - most of it W
You don't know who Dawkins is?
Dude look him up he's the one who opened my mind from the tyranny of religion
Put simply, he provides the strongest argument against what atheists consider the delusion of God that science is aware of. Not strong enough to convince me, of course. I have other convictions that lead me to believe in God, ones that are more complex than I am able to explain here, and that are too personal for anyone to have written a book on. The evidence of God is personal conviction, which is why not even the Bible alone brings people to Christ. All that aside, though, I find it surprising that you don't know the name of Richard Dawkins in modern society. I would recommend looking him up. Definitely educate yourself thoroughly before making any decision regarding religion (or lack thereof).
I also recommend looking up Stephen C. Meyer. His work explains all the flaws in the Big Bang Theory and ultimately supports intelligent design, although it's not specific on whose god is the intelligent designer.
"My point is, let people believe what they want."
Aren't we? Who's advocating prison camps for believing the wrong thing?
Well I'm certainly not. That's absolutely absurd.
And when I said that I was referring to all the verbal and cyber sparring. Not just here—in other polls, too. It's everywhere, really.
I like order...as long as it's my order
Libertarians most rebellious republicans least rebellious.
That's what I would have guessed
That's part of the problem. Come on, GOP! Get it together already!
No, I always fell in line.
Yes, absolutely. F*** the system.
I was born on the Fourth of July I'll let you guess
You're bad ass😘
Seriously I know. I was not a rebel really as,a kid. It was hidden and came out as I got older. Hell I even tell my students that I don't follow all the rules
Girls like that. Better watch out those teen girls.
Well the girls do love me. I have a fan club. But most of them are 10. Work at k-8. Some of the middle schoolers know me
I hate conformity and always want to rebel. So yes. However, I don't have the courage to actually do it.
Ha! Not in the slightest. But, that doesn't mean I don't know how to have fun!
Probably more than most people think. 😜
A true rebel woulda posted "FIRST!!!" with a bunch of explanation points and maybe even all upper place letters and location marks
Whatever, Crawdaddy! 😜
