Most people think the Rubik's cube is something hard to solve or something you have to be really smart to do. Here is telling you differently. You just have to remember sets of patters to move the cube and do them over and over in the correct sequence. Sorry cubers but the gig is up. It's not that hard. 😛

When I was younger, I did it all the time and thought it rather easy; so easy, in fact, I was surprised how few indicated they had done it.

3x3x3, 4x4x4 and 5x5x5. the 4x is the hardest because there are no center cubies to reference, you have to memorize where the colors are in relation to each other before you start and make sure that your 3 sided corner cubies match up properly.

Nope, but my daughter can do it without much thought. My husband and I have watched her repeatedly to try to figure it out. She says she doesn't know how she does it, her brain just tells her what to do (it's that thinking that makes her great at math and terrible at having to explain how she got her answers).

My best time is around a minute twenty I could do better if I took the time to learn more advanced techniques but I'm to lazy for that

Takes me about 16 seconds to do it. I can also do it blindfolded to where I am handed the cube scrambled, I memorize it, put on the blindfold, and solve it. Its a really fun hobby.

Not even close to solving it. My little cousin can solve one in 30 seconds, he can also do it with his eyes closed. He tried to explain the formulas he uses, that just confused me more. I actually shot a slow motion video of him solving it with my iPhone just see what his hands were actually doing, they were moving too fast in real time.

Yes. The first time took quite a while, but it is eminently doable. Just a more complex version of those one-sided kid's puzzles with the numbers and one empty square that you slide around to get into order. If you can do just one side of the cube you will eventually be able to do the whole thing. No special pattern or sequence required (although the cheat sequences are MUCH faster).

Not a really messed up one... I used to keep mine solved, so I could do checkerboard patterns & the like & then put it back to normal, but when it was truly messed up, I ended up removing stickers & adhering them where I needed them! 😁
