I don't want the creepy drunkards watching me sleep. That kind of person on my block is just an everyday occurrence. And, I have stalkers.

Right now it's too cold. Otherwise I do sometimes. Unless the wasps come back. Otherwise I'm going to be vacuuming them to hades 😄😄😄

No, that's gross. Why would anyone do this?

In the summer only it's too cold in the winter time

I actually don't have any bedroom windows that go outside. The only window looks into my mudroom/laundry room.

During the summer, yes. I love sleeping with the window open. During the winter hell to the no.

Not unless the A/C is broken, and then only for as long as it takes to get it fixed.

I leave my window open during the cold months.

The real answer is no but only because my husband appears to believe a closed window is a good window. Me, I like fresh air.

Yes, if it's not too cold out. My windows are almost at ground level, though, so it's only open a little way, and there's a section of a broom handle in the track preventing it from being opened further.

Sure. Nice to have a little fresh air.

Always must open all the year. Keep clean air so any odor air out. Breathe easily while sleeping at nighttime

I live in a 1 story house in New Orleans, if I ever felt ballsy and wanted to be robbed, I'd do that.

Not in AL...central heat & fan with ceiling fan as needed.
Since visiting PA, open windows are often necessary, since we are in a 2nd floor apartment & the woman below must keep her heat on 80°! (We only needed the heater on ONCE for a couple of hours ALL winter!)

No open windows in my bedroom. Other area's in my house, yes, but in my bedroom I only use a fan. If it's hot or cold, I have central air. Right now, it's just about perfect at night, with nothing!

Not when it is so cool outside. The window sticks though so it doesn't get opened very often.

We don't have screens behind the windows so stuff could get in.

It has a sliding glass door. We had to convert the den into a bedroom when kid #3 arrived.
