Don't like
1. He has no humility. Good leaders should have some.
2. He shouts out legislation but doesn't explain how to enact such legislation.
3. He wines and acts childish towards political competitors-- showing a clear lack of debating skills/ critical thought
4. He is too quick to jump to military action towards any country. Not that I'm anti-military, but military action requires careful planing that trump does not consider.
5. He automatically assumes all those who disagree with him are lesser people.
6. He speaks before he thinks
7. He mocks his fellow republicans if they don't fall under his support. Calling the "losers" or "brain dead"
8. He's a sore loser
9. He's run several unfounded attacks on political figures. Ex: Obama's birth certificate/ cruz's wife's attractiveness
10. He starts several Twitter fights with political people around the world, and when he starts to lose these fights he claims an "intern" started them.
I think he has expertise that could help with the economy, but ... I can also envision a gestapo-like police force marching through Muslim neighborhoods and hunting for illegal Mexicans to deport. I don't think I could bear living in an environment like that.
There are many reasons to dislike Trump. Because he's "racist" and a "bigot" and whatever other word liberals use to describe those who disagree with them is not why.
He's a huge liar and a snake oil salesman. He's been a democrat his entire life, has sided with Hillary up until last year, has flip flopped on literally every issue in one way or another, he never mentions the Constitution, and he is only running for President because he craves power.
"Snake oil salesman"
You mean like the people who fund Cruz' campaign when he's not receiving donations from Goldman Sachs?
Also, about Trump craving power and doing this for himself. If that were true wouldn't he be running as a democrat? Think about it, it's much easier to win as a liberal than a conservative. Plus the majority of media has a liberal bias. Certainly he'd just say outrageous stuff that is liberal and the media would defend him.
Don't forget Trump also donated thousands of dollars to Cruz too. Does this mean he's owned by both of them. No, logically it means he owns both of them.
Like, He says everything I think and believe, and I want a strong leader to kill the Muslim terrorists and stop all the illegals from coming in here, also I think he'll greatly help our economy with his tax plan and trade deals
Trump is an unknown even to himself. His positions constantly chance on issues depending on his situation and what he is trying to accomplish. He has no advisors because he trusts no one to do ANYTHING better than he can. He is an egomaniac running for a job where it is impurities for the elected to know their limitations.
He doesn't know the law and if he did, he wouldn't think that it would apply to him.
It is possible that he would make an incredible president, but it is also possible that he could be the worst in history and could easily lead us into WWIII.
"Easily lead us to WW3"
By already having a good influence with Russia, reforming Nato, and saying he'd want the situation in Isreal and Palestine to end?
Like, because I agree with him on Social issues, he wants to reform Nato, and he probably won't bend over to our enemies like Sanders or Clinton would. I also like that he already has a favorable opinion from Putin, something Obama has never gotten.
"“I think the only difference between me and the other candidates is that I’m more honest and my women are more beautiful."
That is claiming women as property. That's sexist.
"They're not sending you, they're sending people that have lots of problems and they're bringing those problems with us."
That is creating hate for a group of people who primarily do low paying, unwanted jobs so the rest of us are able to live happy lives. I'd love to see you happily spend 12 hours a day picking potatoes for less than minimum wage.
“Laziness is a trait in the blacks. ... Black guys counting my money! I hate it.”
Must I even explain how that one is full of hate or bigoted?
"The only kind of people I want counting my money are little short guys that wear yamakas every day.”
That is blatantly bigoted.
You really need to wake up and actually listen to this guy. He is incredibly racist, sexist, bigoted, and full of hate.
One of those quotes said, "Laziness is a trait in blacks."
That line, however, is not directly from Trump. It is found in a 1991 tell-all by a former Trump employee, who alleges in his book that he heard Trump say those words to a black accountant at a Trump-owned establishment, according a 2011 article in the Huffington Post.
Well, most of it is spin from people who oppose him & don't want to address the issues head on. Racism is an ugly way to discredit somebody. It does a disservice to legitimate victims. Usually the claims originate from prejudice people themselves.
Regardless, somebody needs to address debt & an out of control government.
It won't happen with Hillary or Bernie.
He strikes me as someone who is getting support based on populist style rather than substance. Imagining him in a diplomatic situation boggles the mind. It seems like his whole campaign is a joke on the American voters. Even going back to his days on the Apprentice, I've considered him an arrogant jerk.
But still less of a risk than Clinton or Sanders.
We really need a brokered convention.
We need a Trump to get us out of the mess we are in.
I like:
1. He's not a politician.
2. He's not in it to get rich by selling us down the river.
3. He will create great teams to analyze problems & address them effectively.
4. His ego will lead to our success.
5. He has a grip on the important economical issues including the size of government, the cost of healthcare & the cost of education.
Most of the negative press is superficial & inaccurate.
One cannot be intelligent nor a good leader without the SIMPLE ability to keep decent composure, be polite and respectful, and behave in a mature manner. It is not hard to behave professionally, if one cannot at least do that, it is not possible they are fit for leadership in a democracy. Of course there are more reasons than this, but his behavior is enough to provide psychologists more research on the Narcissistic personality.
