Question for Democrats: Do you like communism?
In the 90s, "welfare as we know it" was "reformed" and trade deals that benefited large corporations were passed. Both Democrats and Republicans supported these measures. While Democrats still supported the concept of a social safety net, more and more Republicans opposed it, many seeking to privatize social security. U.S. Democrat's ideas are now similar to those of the center Right in Europe when it comes to economics.

I'm not a democrat, but I'm a big fan.
Communism is bad
Communism is great
Yeah its great if you want hell on earth
I thought we were talking about communism, not capitalism
We are talking about communism. Its common sense that communism is shit. Ever seen people fleeing capitalist countries? Even if it has happened, people fleeing from communism happens way more. Why? Because communism is evil. Its bad. It is Satan's idea.
I don't remember people fleeing communism. I only remember people fleeing authoritarian regimes.
Sorry but communism doesnt work. Its bad. The reason why America is such a great nation is because its capitalist
I don't think America is a great nation.
Wow you just admitted you're an idiot
Explain why you think America is a great country.
Can you please name one communist nation you would like to have lived/live in?
Catalonia 1936 is pretty cool
-Extrajudicial killings by militants and vigilantes
-several thousand individuals were executed by anarchist and socialist militants based on their assumed political allegiance and social class.
-Church buildings were burned
-Thousands of members of the Catholic clergy were killed and tortured and many more fled the country or sought refuge in foreign embassies
-Antony Beevor estimates the total number of people killed in Catalonia in the summer and autumn of 1936 at 8,352 (out of a total of 38,000 victims of the Red Terror in all of Spain).
You are an evil person.
I do not support burning religious institutions. But their form of government and economy is my ideal. And about the violence, you have to remember that they were fighting against the fascists. When defending one's self against a group like the Franco's, sometimes things get violent.
Good, then you don't support the Confederación Nacional del Trabajo, which is who I was speaking about.
Yeah I do. I don't support burning churches. But I generally agree with their movement.
MJ you are right
What makes you think Democrats would?
Well, Democrats today have gone very far left.
No they haven't.
The Democratic Party has moved to the right and the Republicans have moved to the far right in the last several decades.
Are you kidding me? How have the Democrats not gone far left
I answered here but for some reason it got posted above.
