"Don't judge a book by its cover" is a very popular saying, but is it accurate? Is it possible to judge a person based on their appearance, and know/be correct about what kind of person they are?
Some people are very good at reading people. I had a brother who could look at anyone and know their character. Others, like me, are terrible at judging character.
It's nature that tells us to judge everything about people
Wolves in sheep's clothing?
I'm a poker player. I pay a lot of attention to other people's dress, mannerisms, grooming. I'm usually correct about what kind of people they are.
No (lucky guesses aside), appearance does not reflect character.
