Is your power currently knocked out due to the storm?
AROGANT AND HEARTLESS
No one from NY/NJ/SI can answer bc were all out of power!
I had the same thought. Just got power back today. Wasn't on SOH during outage.
I'm just seeing this Friday...and I still don't have power
Somehow I wonder if the people with power are the only nes answering. Duhh
yes, and it sucks. con Ed said it could be ten days before my neighborhood has power again. all I know is, I'm going to appreciate having electricity a whole lot more when all of this is over.
that's a really good idea. I have pretty limited use of my phone right now since I have to bring it elsewhere to charge it, and a lot of people are probably in the same situation.
the lights flickered a few times and that was it.
Yes but my family has a generator
They could be people that live in a western state, but are at the moment, visiting an eastern state.
Who are these idiots that live west of the Mississippi River answering yes??
Tony, the results are skewed. I'm pretty sure many folks without power are not using SOH.
How about a repeat poll, in a week or so, "Did you lose power during the storm?"
Ummm NO!!! I live in TEXAS!!!!
I feel your pain :( hang in there!
Your name sucks ;)
Mines likely to be out for another four or five days... God help me.
It was out for 18 hours.. But PSE&G said it wouldn't be back until November 5th! Thankfully, they lied :)
Probably just to make us all think it was a miracle when our lights came back on..
How are people supposed to vote without internet?
Praying for you all who have been hit by the storm
Got mine back after 27 1/2 hours!
Where are you? Can I come over lol!? Brrrrrrrr!!!
I want one!!
I just did LOL so now I have to go outside and recharge my iPhone in my car! Send help!!!
Yes and my elderly mom is getting cold. Need my power back!!! And God bless all my fellow sufferers who are suffering from much much worse!
I hope the security measures in ny come online soon.
Costco, Walmart, SAMs, Best Buy, Amazon, etc. They're sold to provide uninterrupted power for computers and home theater systems, but function as a combination battery/inverter to power anything within their capacity. Common brands are APC, Tripp-Lite, and CyberPower.
We are on the public safety grid. So, no. The power people have been working hard.
"Only" 74 degrees? Somehow, I can't summon up a lot of sympathy. LOL
Nope. I was wearing shorts and flip flops yesterday.
I would suppose that many people without power can't vote on here...and even if there's cell service their batteries may be dead by now, or they're not wasting their battery going to "Show of Hands"!
I don't get it normally I lose power if someone sneezes but I don't lose it in the storm of the century.
Vote via phone. Laying by my gas fireplace now trying to stay warm
It's out at my job, but not at my house...been stuck at working since 11:30 Sunday night...
These brilliant Californians....*rolls eyes*
who voted yes in California?!?
Question should be applied only to states affected.
Where can I get one? We usually get our power knocked out during our annual winter snowstorm. Lol. Thanks!
Dumb question!! If you don't have power how do you vote?
Power just came back on about an hour ago. I didn't have school yesterday or today because of the storm and no school tomorrow because of having no power :)
1% of Californians are affected. Wow.
you lucky bastards haha been out for a day and a half now
All I kno is sandy made SW fla. chilly. Today was only 74 as was yesterday. Warming back up to 82 for the next week. Thank god!! Hate cold weather. Good to sleep in though but not during the day. Had to dig out pants today, not fun!
I'm not sure I would use limited battery life on SOH.
What, you would use the valuable battery power to play Angry Birds?
Then you should probably change your location to the state your currently located in.
