The Tariff Act of 1883 placed a tax on imported vegetables, but not on fruit. In 1893, SCOTUS unanimously ruled in Nix v. Hedden that a tomato is a vegetable and subject to the tax, and not a fruit. Do you agree with the Supreme Court's ruling?
