Do you know any archaeologists? (Personally, i.e. not Indiana Jones)

One weekend I worked with Ruth 'Dee' Simpson at a Mojave dig. What a thrill!

I know one, we worked together. I wanted so much for the experience to be cool, but she was so passive aggressive she was difficult to work with.

Of anyone, I would have expected you to know some archaeologists!

I'm a little surprised I don't, although I know far more lab scientists than field scientists. I can't think of anyone else around here who might know any (except yourself), but there's probably someone.

I know a lot of field scientists but not many lab scientists, my degree is in geology and I loved being in the field.

Haha, I guess I'm in the middle with about an equal number of field/lab scientists. My degree is in bioarchaeology though, which is more lab oriented (though fieldwork is always encouraged and super fun).
