60% of all college students receive no financial help from their parents. Did you receive help if you went to college?

Full academic scholarship (including living expenses).

I always worked while in college. I grew up poor. Even though this was a few decades ago, I graduated with two undergrads and only $1600 in student loans. Post graduate work has been paid in cash.

I received $3,000 per semester from my father as an extension of his child support payments to my mother. Aside from that, the liberal folks would say I received a substantial amount of white privilege allowing me to attend an excellent school which allowed to to obtain an academic scholarship. The remaining cost was covered by approximately $25,000 in student loans.

I didn't go to college but my mom paid for a few classes at the community college.

One-half scholarship and the rest I worked. No loans.

Said no because I think you're asking if I received help from my parents.
I was fortunate to have the GI Bill that paid my tuition as well as a small monthly check for living expenses.

Yep. I paid for most of it (including tuition, rent, books, health plan, etc.) through my scholarships and my parents helped out with what was left from my education fund.

I had a good scholarship that covered almost everything. My parents helped with the rest.

No, I didn't. My parents charged a semester on their credit card when my money was late so I could avoid a fee, but I paid them back in full the next week.

My parents were kind enough to show up at my college graduation, that is the extent of their help, financial or otherwise. However, the Navy provided me extensive help. Time off to attend classes, tuition assistance, classes taught on base (when in port) and accessibility. So....I did receive help, just not from parents.

Moved out when I was 18 making minimum wage. No help from anyone. But by working hard and having a plan I bought the restaurant I was working at 8 years later.
