Bernie Sanders stated "My hope is that the Republicans tonight will talk about the real issues impacting America, not set a phobia and not be racist." Do you think the Republicans accomplished this?

Hooah Fmr. Zia

You can look up the study, and it's counters. Science is impartial and not meant to be political. So I,don't accept a dismissal of science based on politics. Like I said, the study doesn't say conservatives are stupid, the study just find that more people with a lower IQ tend to hold conservative beliefs, that to me is a very interesting correlation. That's not to say that there are no stupid people in the Democratic Party either. But more people with lower IQs tend to hold conservative and racist beliefs according to this study.

Scientific results can easily be modified to tell the story you want them to. Sometimes they are outright falsified. The headline may be true or false, but even if it is true, the degree to which it is true matters a lot when determining if there is a meaningful difference between the averages.

The republicans don't have animosity towards certain groups, we just think using facts instead of emotions. For example, it has been proven that some refugees would create problems in America, therefore we don't think they should be allowed to come. Democrats, on the other hand, choose to think emotionally, which isn't terrible, but they fail to see the bigger picture.

Dems are FAR more racist than any other group. The dem party is the party of the KKK, segregation, Jim Crow and today they are blatantly guilty of intellectual fascism. Unless a person agrees with the dem talking point fallacies, the dems call names and attempt to suggest that there is something wrong with someone that disagrees with them. Disagreeing with dems is pretty easy considering their idiotic ideology.

Bernie is right. Even if you just look at the comments you would see that he's right. People have placed fear and scapegoating ahead of their own interests. One guy, Think, can't even accept the fact that national security is about more than just killing the bad guys. Then there are the issues of infrastructure, wealth inequality, and education. We increased the amount of money we'd spend on bombs this year by 30 billion dollars. That's just the increase on an already ridiculously high sum of money. That increase is already half the amount of money it would cost to establish free college education in America. Does even a single republican candidate discuss that? Fuck no. They want even more bombs. More fear. More death. That's not national security that's lunacy.

It's funny because Obama has decreased the military by 25% while in office. And free community college would not benefit anyone in our society, it would not be cost effective or even help the people getting the education. 61% of community college students don't earn a degree until they have gone for six years or more.

National security was the declared topic of the debate, and while it's tough for foaming at the mouth Democrats, like you, to admit it, the Republican candidates talked precisely about the horrible failure of MrO's feeble attempts at securing our nation. From USLegal: "National security is a corporate term covering both national defense and foreign relations of the U.S. It refers to the protection of a nation from attack or other danger by holding adequate armed forces and guarding state secrets. The term national security encompasses within it economic security, monetary security, energy security, environmental security, military security, political security and security of energy and natural resources. Specifically, national security means a circumstance that exists as a result of a military or defense advantage over any foreign nation or group of nations, or a friendly foreign relations position, or a defense position capable of successfully protesting hostile or destructive action."

This group of chumps seemed to focus their paranoia on a small part of the big picture.
