I said yes but I forgot that I am currently living in a small town with no bus system or taxi services so if you don't have a car you can't go anywhere now if I was in a place like Atlanta that had a bus system then hell ya I would give up driving for 2 million

Driving is one of my favorite things to do.. I couldn't imagine life without it. I also couldn't pass up 2 million dollars to build a strong foundation for my family. I would sacrifice driving for my son and future children, no matter how much it sucked!

Sure. I hardly ever drive anyway. Problem with my spine makes it difficult so hubby drives or I pay someone to take me. The $$$ would just be a plus for what I already do anyway.

With taxes you would only end up get in like 1 million and how would you spend that money during summer? how would you mail things if in my case the post office is 5 miles away?

$2 million is definitely not enough to get me to stop driving. I live too far away from everything to stop driving for only $2 million.

Considering I've been driving for less than six months, and there really isn't much public transportation where I live, definitely not. Maybe by the time I move up to Boston I would consider it. But definitely not now.

Depends. Like some of these other comments, I would buy cars but I wouldn't be allowed to drive them! That would suck. The only loophole is that I know how to ride motorcycles, so I'd buy a couple of those, then hire a chauffeur to drive me around everywhere in my cars! Lol

One of the things that I'd buy with $2 million would be cars, and there's no point of buying a new car if you can't drive it.

I'd do it except think about all the cool cars of the future you'd miss out on driving.

I hate driving anyway, and there's plenty of alternatives (especially when you have a lot of money).

Yes. I live walking or biking distance to nearly everything I need and when I don't I'll get a taxi or have my husband drive. I put less then 2000 miles on my car per year anyhow so it would be easy to give up.

I ride my horse more than I drive my truck. Easy to stop driving for 2 mil, but Gomer's (my horse) air conditioning isn't that great in the summer, and his heater only keeps my legs warm.

$2 million is as much money as everyone seems to think. I'd need more than that to live the rest of my life without driving

I would get an apartment on a cruse ship. No need to drive there ;)
And if you have to be staff to pull it off I would work in the kitchen.
