In 2010, the share of income held by the top 40% ($67,456+) was 75%, while the bottom 60% of America (under $67,456) held 25%. After taxes and spending, the share of top 40% fell to 59% while the share of the bottom 60% rose to 41%. Good thing?

Good info here. Transfer payments should be factored into income in more statistics we see. Someone on the upper margin of the bottom half may actually be better off than someone in the upper half..
