For anyone,do you use a cane, walker, rollator or transport chair to get around?
My dad needs one but he's too proud to admit he does. And I bet I'll be on one soon. My medications make me wobbly and it's worse when I'm walking uphill. I think my doctor needs to adjust my meds. I'll find out next time I get a blood test.
My great grandma does!
I've used a knee scooter for most of the past year. Today was the first day I didn't take it with me. As knee strollers go this has been a good one. It's got big wheels for rough terrain.
It served me well but I won't miss it.
I got to use a wheelchair in a museum after I had surgery on my ankle.
That was fun.
I don't but my wife goes, she's in a chair. Totally dependent on me and her health care workers.
Timeout: you are a great human.
I'm sure you will say she's worth it, she'd do the same fit you, you are honored...... But not everybody would or could do what you do. You deserve accolades.
Hat tip to you. It's sure not easy. I was in one for four months last year. It was so so hard. I could've used a helping had but I'm alone. Your wife must be very strong. It's a very difficult life in a chair. The world is so not disability friendly!
Thanks guys, I appreciate support. Life's not easy at times, you just take one day at a time.
I've used a cane for about 15 yrs now but currently using crutches.
Yes I use all depending on the situation at the time.🚚
