Howard Stern will host his final show under a five-year contract with SiriusXM this Wednesday. Do you listen to his satellite radio show?
Is he still on?
I've never listened to any Sirius show
Another publicity stunt. Do people even care?
His show is better than anything on radio or TV. More people listen to him than watch 98% of TV shows. If you think he is the same guy you heard about in the 90's then you're misinformed. Listen to it for 3 days and you will be a fan. Or don't. Listening to Howard is like playing Chess...you have to be intelligent to really get it.
His compensation really hurt Sirius. I don't think they got their money's worth.
The HS Show is one of the greatest shows of all time in any media. And he is THE greatest interviewer ever, by far.
Oops. I mean "medium."
Howard Stern. There is a website called Google.com you type his name into the interface and websites come up explaining his biography, persona and radio show. Have your Grandkids show you.
No. I would have listened to his show, but we dumped the satellite radio about the time he was getting picked up by Sirius, not that long after XM sold out to Sirius and we found out it just wasn't as good.
I used to listen to him now and again on terrestrial radio but I could only take him in small doses. I much preferred Opie & Anthony
Yikes. You prefer comedy written for the lowest common denominator then?
Would you be referring to O&A or Stern?
No I'm referring to the "comedy on Opie and Anthony" not the unique, exciting interviews Stern gets with the most entertaining people in the world. I'm surprised you got that confused.
Radio is free, why pay for it.
Because speech isn't on public radio. On satellite radio you can curse and tackle topics the FCC can't throw fines at you for.
Apparently the statistics tell the story why.
I have great 90s memories listening to Art Bell and Howard Stern on radio. The last years of good talk radio.
This user is currently being ignored
That was more or less interesting to read.
Howard Stern will resign another contract. That was one reason why he left AGT because it was too much to do both.
I think he's part of some sort of conspiracy. I mean, he sucks. His show sucks. 5% of he people on this app listen. No one gives a shit about him or his show and he gets paid loads of money. WTF?
Contrary to your unpopular belief, he is extremely popular.
Yeah, I think that's BS. But, keep believing it.
Why don't you just look at the statistics?
This app does not speak for a nation. Thank bloody God.
You mean it has been 5yrs already 😱
He always kinda struck me as a big douche. Never really cared for him.
Sonofmental you kind of strike me as a great big douche.
Really? Well you can fuck off guy 😁👍🏼
96% of people said no, i guess thats why his radio show is ending.
Um, if you actually read an entire sentence you'd understand his shows first 5 years is ending. He just got signed up for 5 more with a 50 million dollar contract. How many 50 million dollar contracts have you signed?
Only if I was more curious about how to jump the shark on the radio...
I prefer his show for interviews. He's not handcuffed by censors and can get the the good details
No. I used to listen to Howard every morning on terrestrial radio. When he moved to satellite he was virtually dead to me.
Occasionally. My dad listened to him every day for almost 20 years though.
I cry for humanity too.
No, but I liked him as a judge on America's Got Talent.
I never have, but I don't have satellite radio...
There was an awards show sometime back and Howard "flew" across the stage as "Fart Man". Yuck. Too raunchy.
Yes, I often judge people by one performance 20 years ago too. US assholes have to stick together!!
If you're saying Stern isn't still raunchy, you haven't been paying attention.
I'm saying that you're referencing an event that offended you over 20 years ago. It's a bit long to hold on. You didn't reference anything recent. It sounded as though you weren't the one paying attention. And "raunchy" is a subjective determination.
I wasn't expecting to write a book about the things I find raunchy of Howard Stern. I had no idea anyone would care enough to hear my opinion. Thanks for caring so much.
Didn't need a book but a more recent example would have been a better place to start. I'm not ashamed of the fact I care, what's the point of reading other's opinions and taking part in polls if you don't give a shit?
I like him fine on Americas Got Talent. But I think I have rarely if ever listened to his radio show.
I never found his show interesting or funny.
No one has ever found you interesting or funny either, so you're even.
I used like the show when it was on E! Back when I was a kid.
I DO listen sometimes! Certainly not daily, as there's other funny stuff happening in the world, but Stern always, still, makes me LOL. I ALWAYS dig his musical parodies, and NO ONE interviews their guests, or can get their guests to go rogue on ultra-personal topics, like Howard Stern. Also, when he has musical guests on, they sometimes play acoustic versions of their music live in his on-air studio. Those sessions have been excellent. He is certainly NOT for everyone. Fewer people appreciate his chronic fixation with sex, penis size, and begging female guests to sit on the Sybian. I can get past it, 'cuz he's one funny dude. Besides, can someone who's generating a quarter-billion in revenue be ALL bad?!!...
Gonzo, it's a display issue with the apps. It'll be updated next version. The text is actually there ☺️
Oh! Okay, cool... Thank you so much, and for the visual!🙂
jaysin, I JUST turned my iPhone sideways (Landscape View), something I RARELY do, and saw the complete, unbroken text! I get the "display issue". Again, thanks!
I used to. The show went downhill after Artie Lange left.
Only if I like the guest
So, yes, you do listen....
Yeah, that's why I answered the poll yes
I don't have satellite radio
His "shock jock" image is old and tired. Stern is a thing of the 90's.
I stopped a little over 5 years ago. The show went to shit right before he signed this contract.
My dad listens to him. I would only listen to him occasionally.
I don't like Howard Stern.
