Is passing on your genes important to you?
Yes, part of the reason I don't want to adopt
I usually wear my jeans out beyond passing them on
Why would pissing in my jeans be important? Oops...misread.
I would much rather passing my values and principles.
I kind of would like to pass down my blonde hair & blue eyes but that would never be my reason for reproducing & I wouldn't be devastated if it didn't happen.
I had 3 kids...all born with my blonde hair, but only one with my baby blues. And only one stayed light blonde. It's a crapshoot lol
No kids. I have some conditions I don't want to pass on to anyone else.
No. I'll forever be childfree.
Having children is, but not passing on my genes. I want to have a kid, but adoption is fine by me if I can't have one biologically
Not at all. I love my relatives not because we share the same genes but because we share experiences. Adopted or blood, I will love you just the same.
Yes. My son is the only one who can perpetuate the family.
Just out of curiosity, are the genetics as important as family name/culture? Would you feel less fulfilled in life if you (or your son) had adopted, but no biological children?
No, for me, the name and culture would be much more significant. Since he's the only boy in the family, somehow it has always been important to me.
Okay, I can understand how that could be of significance for someone
I am the last of my line. No regerts.
I'm sure we won't be missed, and you'll have a few less liberals in your life. Bonus.
Glad I could help, buddy.
No. I do have a daughter, but she's not having children, so "my" genes are stopping right there, and that doesn't bother me at all.
