Bush left the Middle East without a leader to keep terror groups contained. Obama took troops out and let those groups grow. Two blatant failures. What should the next president do?
I like Cruz's idea. Find where ISIS' strongholds are, carpet bomb the ever living hell out of them. I like how he said it, "we'll make the sand glow in the dark".
Only where ISIS outnumber civilians. Use troops for not as densely populated ISIS areas.
Mr Bush didn't leave Iraq without a leader. That all happened on MrO's watch.
He overthrew Saddam. Obama didn't finish the job Bush started, which was worse
The gov't that replace Mr Hussein was democratically elected. That failed when it became clear that MrO was going to abandon them.
I'd like to say leave. But I think we'll need a real coalition, not one where the US does 90% of the work, and pays 100%. Go back in, finish the job, and put in some good, strong dictators al la Hussein.
Bomb the hell out of em.
