Do you have a positive or negative view on getting old?
Some stuff sucks, like more & random body pain. I don't mind physical change. It's a fun challenge to go to the gym and stay young. I'm starting to get grey streaks in my hair and they look sexy as f*ck😊
Well, it's better than the alternative.
Positive now. I didn't always feel that way though.
Definitely negative. Our bodies just wear out over time.
You only have two options. You get old or you never make it that far.
At 73 the light at the end of the tunnel IS the train.
Not 73 yet, but close. I agree about that damn trains.
Well..... Considering that my parents didn't make it out of their 50's and I'm now 60 I have a very positive view on aging!
Positive. It is better than the alternative.
Positive, when you're old nobody cares what you look like anymore, people are more polite to you, and you're retired 😊 I just hope I'm one of those healthy old people when I actually get old.
People expect less from you too.... :)
Positive. I look forward to my years to come.
It's not a bad thing... considering the alternative.
Unless the alternative is staying young.
Positive. The experiences collected are respectable and often come with wisdom. They've been there, done that - and learned from it! Life is tough and they made it that far. I want to grow old so that I can live history. I want to see the world change! Aging is a gift.
A comment from someone who obviously has no idea what it's like to be old(er). Your opinion will change when you get here.
I'm older KAnne and I agree!
I'm 65 and yes, that sounds right. Of course everyone is different.
Negative. Retirement is my silver lining.
Positive. If I dont get old, it means Im dead. The goal is to make it to "old". :)
Positive, I get older everyday. It's easy.
Thoroughly hate it. I may be only 50 but see people I loved in my youth drop like flies. I'm mainly talking about public figures. For example, Scotty and Spock from TOS Star Trek are six feet under. I also lost friends due to age or disease.
My father passed away 2010. A friend of my sister and me succumbed to breast cancer. I mean, it's not fun growing old and losing friends and kin.
Btw, a great question 😎
I AM old....so I guess it has to be positive. George Burns said it best. "I'm trying like hell to reach 100. Very few people die after that!!"
Fuck that shit
It's pretty great! Although technically, I'm not old yet.
You're old if you're retired 😀
Not if you retire young.
@Zod: depends on what you consider old. 65?
Some people get the good life
I retired at 35. Did I turn old then?
